Getting on no problem
Paying another matter.The pay machine was not working .I had to down load an app, This allowed me to pay my parking, £5. But also charged me 20p for using the app. They call it a convenience fee. I call it day light robbery. A well deserved 1 star.

No payment machine out of action, told to ay at the day surgery closed, told to go to the third floor of the main hospital security office, told to go on line, go on line, the thing is a joke. 20 minutes parking already 2 hours trying to sort out, the NHS IS A JOKE. Arrived for my appointment the doors locked, total rubbish.

Totally inadequate parking facilities for the hospital. People endlessly driving round and round looking for parking spots. I had to let my wife go for her appointment while I stayed with the car parked in a gangway just in case anyone wanted to leave (which they didn't in just over 1 hour). Payed £3 for the experience. Won't ever drive there again, will use a train, always assuming that they happen to be operating.

Carpark rammed full as usual. Went to pay for my tick £3 for 2 Hrs when unfortunately the heavens opened. The 2 machines are located inside a perspex canopy which unfortunately only has half a roof and half a side. Result, all three of us using the pay machines might as well have been stood outside as we were soaked!
Ok yes I accept most carpark machines are in the open, but if you are providing a shelter perhaps it could be kept intact?

I was disgusted at what happened when we had to pay. I put £10 in the machine for a £5 charge, and guess what? No change given. Where was the notice, not in a prominent position, it wasn't until you are stood there really looking, do you see the small sign that says, 'no change given'. It should be in big bold letters at eye level. Not down by your knees. Who's looking down there. It actually really upset me as I felt I'd been physically robbed. Well, I guess I was. What if the person who lost £5, didn't have any more money? It might have been their last money until payday. It's a lot of money to steal from someone because that's what it's called. Plus, to save money, the car park doesn't monitor its capacity, so you drive around for almost your entire free period looking for a space to park. Not a good experience, it ruined my day which was a shame because we'd actually had some nice news at the hospital.

Pleased our hospital appointment was early in the morning, we travelled over from Grimsby to Hull Royal Infirmary & the car park was already pretty full. The car park could do with re-surfacing due to the number of potholes. It wouldn't do your car much good if you went into one of them.

There are lots of spaces but still not enough for both staff and patients. Some bay lines are faded while others are non-existent. I believe the site can be used for multistorey parking and I'm sure lots of people will be more than willing to invest in it

The parking is no longer free.
They've activated the ANPR entrance/exit.

This car park is just across the road from Hull Royal Infirmary. When I visited they were plenty of parking spaces.

You park up and go about your appointment when you return. You go to the payment kiosks located at the front of the lot and type in the first three digits of your vehicle reg plate (or the full registration). You then get charged for the time you've spent in there. Pull your car to the exit, and the barrier should automatically lift/open.

I believe I was charged £2 when I went for my x-ray, given that I always bought a 24-hour ticket for around £5 before this system went live, I can't complain.
