Great gym and community. I go there 4-5 times a week for classes. The fitness instructors are very friendly and approachable. Always ready to help and make you feel part of the family. I also started doing Yoga after many failed trials at other studios, Alex is an amazing instructor. Shout-out to Mauricio for his great spirit and always-on motivation.

Love this gym and it’s staff are super friendly and motivating. I especially love taking all Mauricio classes, he’s super fun, always motivating, smiling and pushing you to achieve results. I particularly love his TUFF, body pump and spinning classes. After a hard days work I look forward to my workouts especially with AMAZING instructors like Mauricio! Thank you for making every class a fun, exhausting and rewarding. ????Highly recommend this gym and location.

Fitness First Marina Gate has the friendliest gym center environment I have been to. Starting from the reception, personal trainers, gym instructors down to its gym members. Everyone smiles at you as if they know you, which is really sweet. They also have the best classes and instructors that sometimes I wanted to attend all- however, my body doesn’t allow it. Mauricio, Kristoffer and Andrea are among my favorites????

After they closed the springs branch (and seems others are closing also). My family has been promised a refund. It has been 7 weeks, and no one responds to the request. They are happy to take your money, good luck getting it back when they close the branch.

Whilst this is a good "basic" gym, it's getting older and this shows in some of the quality of the equipment. Front desk staff are generally pretty helpful and cheerful, but at peak hours the 5 or so active PTs that they have on staff generally monopolize all the best equipment, since there are only 3 or four benches this can get a bit tiresome when you're trying to work out. Some of the PTs are very friendly and always have a smile, others are....not so polite. They've also evidently oversubscribed their memberships for such a relatively small facility, and the place is often overcrowded to the point it's basically unusable for anyone who's trying to get a serious workout in, in less than an hour.

You'll spend a lot of your time waiting to use the limited equipment. Changing rooms are well maintained but there are no sauna or steam facilities, which as a premium gym, in a premium location, you'd be expecting. Watch out also, if you sign up and choose to give up your membership and join at a later date (even 3 or 4 months later). It doesn't matter how long you were a member for, they'll charge you a "joining fee", which doesn't exactly scream "we value our returning customers".

I tried a couple of the group classes too (to be fair this was late last year, 2022)- the Yoga was great, unfortunately the HIIT/Strength class with the male instructor wasn't. He seemed to be making up 99% of the workout as we went along and was pretty disengaged and disinterested the whole time.

It’s not only a mini gym, it’s a complete joke!!!

The gym is AWFUL for two main reasons:

1- It is incredibly small, with very few equipment, I guarantee you that you will not be able to workout - cardio or weight lifting - no matter what.

2- The workers there are useless as many of the previous reviewers mentioned. Plus, they only look to sell you whatever they can sell, and use every shady way they can to do that regardless of how many time you told them that you are not interested, they will even call your personal cell phone to do that.

Amazing ambience. View and boxing classes by Darren and Charles are legendary. Amazing place to workout.

Constant cold calling from this gym and using my past information for this. I've asked fitness first several times to stop contacting me. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
