I bought a Porsche 997 from here, having spent a while looking for the best possible example. The car, if anything was better than described. Martin was super straightforward throughout. Overall I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, in my experience these guys can be depended upon, a spade will be called a spade and you won’t get messed about.

Recently bought a Mercedes 300SL R107 from Martin. A superb example at a fair price, just what I'd been looking for since I saw Bobby Ewing driving one in the 1980s!. Martin and Peter are clearly passionate about classic cars and the garage is an Aladdin's cave of carefully selected and curated examples. The business is first class in every respect.

I had great service from Mr Daly who sold my Jaguar XKR he is now looking for a Bentley GT for me. He has a great selection of cars that are pristine and low milage. A great guy to do business ,highly recommend.

Recently purchased a childhood dream car from Martin at the school garage (1965 Ford Mustang). The whole experience from start to finish was faultless. A huge Thankyou to Peter for his expertise and skill with the work he carried prior to delivery. I would highly recommend The School Garage for purchases of any classic car! Thankyou again!

I purchased an Austin Healey from Mr. Daly that was advertised as being in "Concours Condition". In reality the car's frame was bent, body panels were rusted through and the body had as much as 3 inches of filler in some parts. That for starters.

The car has required a nut and bolt restoration as the existing defects were beyond repair.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you buy a car from this dealer. Mr. Daly gives a whole new meaning to the expression "used car salesman".

It is a shame that people like this are in business at all. Mr. Daly should be dealing in cigarettes at one of HM's prison yards. That is just about the only form of commerce this individual is fit for.

I have recently purchased a 1997 Jaguar Sovereign from Martin at The School Garage. This was one of the easiest transactions I have had in buying classic cars. We negotiated a fair price based on his description and photos. He agreed to service and MOT the car. He delivered it for free and even agreed to take it back if I disagreed with his description. The car duly arrived on time, was exactly as he described it and even had a decent amount of petrol in it. He did promise to leave me a bottle of single malt in the glove box, which he forgot, but I’ll let him off that one (joke). If only everyone in the car trade was as easy to deal with as Martin.

I recently purchased, sight unseen, a 1990 VW GOLF from the classic car shop relying on the description, information provided and very favourable reviews that the car would indeed be in superb condition. In that I was not disappointed. The car was serviced and delivered to me in covered transport. I would have no hesitation in buying another classic car from them. Excellent service.
