Friendly, professional staff with their eye on the bottom line. Easily the best primary in Clacton. Don't be fooled by the council estates around the school. Ravens academy is highly academic , beating other primaries ( including in holland on sea) hands down on SATS - by quite a high margin. Ofsted good with outstanding leadership and it shows because you get the feeling the teachers and staff know what they are doing. The school is unfazed by some of the 'chavy' parents, and carry on with the business of teaching. looks like they are gunning for overall outstanding and they may well get it. They are pushing strong. Great communication, consistent pupil encouragement. Keep it up.

Outstanding school, bought back from the brink of closure! Can't rate high enough. The staff are a fantastic team! Every child is treated with huge respect and individual attention by all. Ignore the location! ;-)

This primary school was AMAZING they say ofsted needed to do it over and make it an academy but i think they was wrong to do so. i went to Ravenscroft for 9 years and now I'm in sixth form and getting ready and planning to go Uni and its all because the staff and teachers at Ravenscroft Primary not Ravens Academy.

My daughter thrived here and left with superb sat results. The headteacher is a legend. Great school
