Lots of ECA options and happy about that. Staff is receptive and pays you respect. Year 1 and 2 was an excellent learning year curriculum wise for my son. My son has been there for 3 years. Initially I gave them a 3.5 star as I saw no progress in French or Arabic. But this time around there is improvement I see and some good learning apps they have put in place also to support which makes is helpful.
There is little to no progress in swimming in last 2 years most kids are at same level as there is only 1 instructor that goes down in pool with 20-21 kids and only for 25 mins in one whole week. The school clearly needs to hire more PE staff and assign for swimming. The fee we pay covers training for all these activities and should be reflected in skill level clearly each year.
Additionally, At year 3 level I would expect to see some paper based homework in Math especially as Math is all about practice. Lot more problem solving and reasoning. But overall happy with Math teaching methods. The app Education city is also a fun interactive learning tool. Learning by fun.
Good initiative taken by my sons class teacher is Speech cups this year in Year 3 whereby children get to speak to class about anything or experience they have had to enhance confidence and a couple other opportunities assigned to kids to build their confidence.
Another great thing is my Son has not experienced any kind of bullying at all in the school in all these years which is of utmost concern to parents when selecting a school, so for this I give them 4.5 stars for managing their bullying policies well.
Overall 4 stars. Not giving 5 stars as there is always room for improvement in education and educational policies to continuously enhance learning and instill confidence. Above all academically a good school, centered in middle of city, but a strong suggestion is to do more confidence building exercises along with knowledge research within class on daily bases and better management of swimming activity.

Quite simply - a wonderful school full of high quality professionals who genuinely care for students. As a parent of FS1, despite knowing the school was very good, we were apprehensive about our son starting aged 3 in September 2017. However, the superb personalised care given to our son, quality education which he is receiving daily and the great communication has resulted in us being extremely pleased. The school have exceeded even or high expectations. Well done to the whole team at GEMS Wellington Primary School.

Learning is happening daily through play exactly in line with the English curriculum. We cannot praise the school enough for the excellent foundation they have given to our son's education. The school is performing as well as any top UK Primary school. Keep it up!!

Gems Wellington Primary school near Union Coop supermarket is a very good school for overall education and development of the child. British caricullum. Lots of space, extra activities and a very decent student teacher ratio. One of the better known schools chain in Dubai. Of course the fees are steep. Lots of facilities provided to children. They have a number of branches in Dubai.

Sheila at reception is good. Some teachers with exceptions (ex. Mr. Baxendale is a fav) and admin staff with exceptions again (Christina, STA, Accounts, Clinic is good) are arrogant. Overall, okay.

A cradle of conspiracies and unfaithfulness.
The principle got kicked out because he didn't bring outstanding and he claimed he resigned because of family issues.
Parents had managed their ways with teachers and previous principle, school got really weird whenever you pass by you hear something disturbing. Always thinking why paying such amount for such school,
One of the teachers who is under training is a previous gems office marketeer who didn't get his university degree is aiming to teach there.

I was in this school 6 years ago and I miss it so much, I was in year 1 and I had so much fun, I don't remember a lot but I remember leaving with happy memories, now I'm in year 7 and I wonder where all my other friends are.
