As a child my father used to take a traditional tiffin to work for lunch... a proper tiffin with the different tiers... so I was intrigued enough to try #gharkatiffin for Some newer memories. The restaurant is a healthy twist on the traditional Indian menu with appetisers using grains, and curries with obviously less oil making them more palatable as a regular order!
The food was delivered piping hot and on time.
We started with the Brown Rice and Corn Tikkas and the Tandoori Chicken ... the first was an interesting and healthy concept and the second a traditional menu item, but both definitely needed the green chutney they were served with for extra flavour.
The mains comprised of Chicken Masala and Paneer Karahi both of which were ok with a homely taste, although bith needed to be less sweet and more chilli!
Loved the fresh naan and rotis and the accompanying salad.
The menu changes monthly so will want to try again soon. Try it out ... based in JLT

If you’re looking for healthy tiffins with a mix of indian and western food - then this is the place for you!
Perfect portions, no unnecessary spices, affordable prices and timely service.
Food is always delivered on time and the taste is just like a home cooked meal.
Definitely recommend this place if you dont have time to cook like me and are looking for healthy options! :)

We were really impressed with the food quality for such low prices and a healthy home style Indian to leave you feeling guilt free. Sachin the owner/manager was very very accommodating and informative about the food and the vision and philosophy of the restaurant.

Started with the tandori chicken and a beetroot flavoured chicken kebab. The chicken of each dish was lovely and tender and really well marinated without any artificial colourings and chemicals. I could have eaten 10 of these.

We then moved on to the chicken biriyani, chicken masala curry and garlic naan. It’s hard to understand how difficult it is to make bread but this was some of the best naan bread we have tasted. Both the curry and rice smelt delicious with so much flavour pouring out of them and were healthy and colourful presented very nicely.

We also tried the chicken tikka roll which was a little bit like a Shawarma but we really nice chunks of chicken in it in a pastry hat heals together really well and wasn’t so messy.

For desert we were presented with a variety of sweets of which the Gulab Jamun was our favourite. Not too syrupy and light. Was a prefect way to end the meal.

For the price of the restaurant and what they serve I would highly recommend it. Good portions, healthy Indian cuisine with really great taste and satisfaction. If you live in he JLT or Marina area I would certainly make the effort to go an visit the restaurant.

Ghar ka Tiffin aims to provide tasty homely food that is not overly oily and is nutritious, unlike many other Indian restaurants. Their menu is a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from North India and many dishes have a blend of veggies and non-veg. in a unique way. This restaurant caters to dine-in guests, takeaways and home deliveries. They also have monthly meal options where people can get food delivered for lunch/dinner or both on a monthly basis. They also have an All-Day Breakfast menu and the rates are very reasonable.

Quinoa Avocado Salad, Masala Chia Idly, Quinoa Chicken Seekh Kebab, Beetroot Chicken Tikka, Beetroot Dal are just some of the dishes that I loved due to their deliciousness and also due to the fact that they are nutritious.

Try the food here and you’ll know what I mean.

The food tastes good overall. Since they cater to people for daily meals on a monthly and weekly basis, they try to keep the food on the healthier side, and add a bit of a twist to it.

Totally loved the quinoa lentil khichadi. The methi chicken was good too, and coconut laddos were really nice.

We also had the butter chicken sliders, sweet potato tikki, quinoa chicken seekh kebab, oyster chicken tikka, and chicken biryani

Tonight we visited a quaint little restaurant at the N Cluster of JLT. Tucked away in the corner you might miss if you don't know it's there by recommendation. We chose a vegetarian tiffin with paneer masala, vegetable stew, mixed dahl fry, peas pilaf, riata and salad for the grand sum of AED 15.75! The restaurant is simple with an open kitchen and they do most of their business by delivery including excellent monthly 'bundle' lunches, non vegetarian with all the favourites, and catering for companies. Owned by Chef Sachin, this little restaurant served us well - authentic, great tasting Indian food cooked from the heart. Their menu serves gluten free healthy dishes which is just perfect! Well done Ghar Ka Tiffin see you soon!

It was my first exposure towards home made food in dubai...The name states home Tiffin and they strongly go by it..

Had visited this evening for a dinner and the place comes with a minimalistic decor in order to give u the homely ambience as per the restaurant owner...

Ordered the evening special kheemakaleji as part of the non veg thaali which included soft chapatis, peas pulav, vegetable, dal and salad...Apart from this tried beetroot chicken tikka and firni...The food really made a difference as you crave for such dishes once in a while..Beautiful surrounding and very courteous service..

So if your looking for something called "ghar ka khaana" head to this restaurant and you will really like the limited home made menu..

Vegetable samosa : it's was overly fried because of which the out part had become a bit hard however the taste of the vegetable inside was amazingly delicious but again to much of green peas in the vegetable: overall samosa was amazing loved every bite.

Mumbai masala sandwich : similar taste of Mumbai sandwich should have been grilled till toast becomes a bit crunchy. Overall good taste.
