They’ll heat up your food in the microwave.
All I wanted was a cheese croissant. First of all, they initially forgot to punch my order so when I went to pick up the food it wasn’t heated or even taken out of the display. Then they gave me a cold croissant without any of the cheese melted - it was a croissant full of cold shredded cheese even though they had heated it up supposedly. So I went back inside from my car in the parking lot and asked for it to be heated up because the cheese wasn’t melted. The guy wanted to debate this point with me for some reason but then eventually he took the croissant back to reheat it and then came back & gave me a wet soggy croissant, however he got one thing right - the cheese was totally melted inside my damp croissant. He has heated it up in the microwave ???? I still can’t believe that they even have a microwave there, which doesn’t have a grill function.
Lesson learned: just go the the Starbucks on the other side of the mall and get their cheese croissant because that’ll save time, energy and money. Yes Gloria jeans’ croissant is double the price of Starbucks’s

I order tea and sandwich, the sandwich was bad. But the tea was nice.. Also the waters (Filipina girls) were so noisy, they were taking in very loud voice all the time.

Cost and noce. There is only one staff lady working alone there but she can perform very well

I ordered a chicken mayo sandwich it was the worst sandwich I've eaten in the UAE.the smoothie was split with the froth floating on top tasted okay .The Filipino cashier/waitress seemed bored out of her mind. Honestly the street food tasted better.

Tiramisu is very disappointing. No coffee flavor, fake mascarpone, and no ladyfingers cookies. We expected better from Gloria Jeans.

GLORIA JEAN'S COFFEES IN AUSTRALIA

Nabi Saleh, an Australian businessman, coffee lover and expert, together with his business partner, Peter Irvine, set their sights on bringing specialty gourmet coffee, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, to Australia.

In 1996 the first Australian Gloria Jean’s Coffees store was opened in Miranda, Sydney.

By 2004 Gloria Jean’s Coffees had opened more than 200 coffee houses across Australia and become a national brand with coffee houses present in every Australian state and territory. With success accomplished at home, Nabi and Peter set about achieving their vision to make Gloria Jean’s Coffees a successful global brand.

Setting off to bring their specialty coffee to the world, Nabi and Peter returned to the USA in 2004, to purchase the international branding and roasting rights for all countries outside of America and Puerto Rico, and in doing so setting up Gloria Jean’s Coffees International Pty Ltd.

Five years on, in early 2009, the global story was completed when Gloria Jean’s Coffees International Pty Ltd. finalised negotiations to buy Gloria Jean’s Coffees U.S. retail and franchise operations from the then U.S. owner.

Today, with coffee houses in 39 markets around the world, much has changed within our business except one thing: our passion for excellent coffee, our dedication to doing business with heart, and our unwavering ambition to be the most loved and respected coffee company in the world.
