I'm writing on behalf of myself, my friends and even some strangers that I have recommended to this garage. We all know Dubai is a paradise for cars , but you need a reliable and trustworthy place to do repairs otherwise things can turn into a nightmare. For me, Gran Turismo Auto Repairing has been my No.1 recommendation to do all kinds of repair works without bloating up the bill. One of the best car service experiences I had in Dubai, very friendly and professional staff, kept me updated all the time with pictures and videos of the maintenance work they're doing, gave me honest and transparent advice/cost, they finished the work on time as they promised initially, and finally they handed the car washed and cleaned in great condition. Highly recommended, Thank you Gran Turismo

The team is very friendly both Nafe’ and Amin. Trustworthy and their service is very professional. Very clean garage.

Grand work has been done to show splendid Castle of extremely rich bishops.
A lot of interesting facts, pictures and things. Fantastic cafe with yummy cakes and coffee.

Auckland Castle and its grounds in Durham are a stunning sight to behold. The castle's architecture and history are impressive, and the surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained. Our family enjoyed exploring the gardens and taking in the breathtaking views of the countryside. Our dog also loved running around and exploring the vast open spaces. The castle's exhibits and art collections were fascinating, and we learned a lot about the history of the region. Overall, it was a wonderful family-friendly outing that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Durham.

On going restoration will make this a place you will want to return. Liked the timeline of bishops stories. Very helpful guides. Cafe is in an old part of the building which is lovely. Looking forward to seeing the restored walked garden and Faith museum. Deer park & ruins are also worth a visit.

Since it's 2018 renovation the interiors are looking splendid. The Neapolitan Nativity was a big surprise and I should imagine one of the few 18th century works of its kind in the UK. Looking forward to visiting the Faith Museum when it opens in 2023.

Our visit here was a belated birthday treat from my friends and what a wonderful gift it was.
The castle is outstanding, lovingly restored with care and packed with wonderful history.
The interior was just so gorgeous with an interesting history timeline of the Prince Bishops and beyond. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and all had an extensive knowledge of the Castle's history.
Outside there is to be found a well laid out walled garden tended by knowledgeable gardeners who were only too happy to answer our gardening queries and have a general chat.
We had a fabulous lunch in the Bishops Kitchen.....highly recommended.
If you have the chance you visit you must go...its a brilliant day out for all ages.

The main attraction is the set of portraits of Jacob and his sons which are really worth seeing. Although this is called a castle it is really the home of a succession of bishops who at one time were also warriors and tax collectors. The rooms are set out to reflect the lifestyle of different bishops so there is no overall period style. It is worth noting that there is currently no guidebook available so take entry of pictures.
