With a beautiful view of the lake, great wok is a nice Chinese restaurant, the menu is elaborate and offers a variety of tastes. there is not much seating inside with the cooler weather outside seating will be nice. Started off with Soup, Tom Kha which is a coconut milk thick Soup, we had the Prawn and chicken dimsum, Hot and steaming this is my fav every time, for starters the Shrimp tempura and chicken satay, crispy corn . For the Mains red and Green Thai Curry with White rice, and Shezwhan noodles. Overall a amazing array of food.

This place is more for a take-away or delivery since it has a limited seating area as is the case with a lot of restaurants in JLT.

The chicken tom kha was a thicker than usual, and the taste was okay.

The prawn cake was not bad.

The chicken siu mai was quite good.

The nasi goreng could have been better.

We liked the fish in black bean sauce.

Say hello to yet another amazing find #inDubai, @greatwokdubai serving some of the best Wok-ilicious authentic dishes and more.

Located in JLT one cannot deny the fact that this place is extremely pleasant in terms of food and location.

We were spoilt for choice, when we saw the variety on their menu. Soups, salads, noodles, rice, gravies, sides and drinks.

They don’t serve sticky rice with Thai curry. And they told dis is sticky rice

Horrible !! Very rude !! I was waiting for my food to arrive for 3 hours and had guests over and it ruined my whole day and also they were refusing to refund me and the driver was not answering me and the manager hung up the phone on me !!!!

The chiken and beef was chewy and basically not possible to chew. So basically we had only gravy with rice at the end. We paid for proper meal but get gravy with rice. My comment: get someone who can properly cook the meat!

In one word delicious and tasty. We ordered a delivery and we took 9 different dishes from soups to tempura prawns and chicken wings … fish and prawns with chilly and oyster sauce and veggie wokked noodles and absolutely everything was delicious. Copious quantities and delivered right on time … everything was still nice and warm …our compliments to the chefs and the owner. I must say after one and a half month we are in Dubai .. Great Wok’s food tasted better than half of the fancy restaurants we tried …. for a quarter of the price. Thank you and keep on doing the way you doing Gaetan & Lizel Attessa Tower

This used to be one of my favorite Chinese delivery places in Dubai. I think I have ordered her at least 200 times in the last years.
That makes it all the more sad that they have apparently gotten a new management or kitchen staff unsure which. But almost everything on the menu now is just chilis. All you can taste is chillis. Egg and chicken Fried rice with 500g of fresh green chilli. Kung Poa with no flavor at all but chilli even a simple vegetable stir fry is now so loaded with chilli you can’t taste anything else. Having lived in China and eaten many wonderful Chinese dishes before this is just sad. This is no longer a Chinese restaurant it’s an abomination of chillis.
