Awesome place for hiking, miles on end walking possibilities. Great views, steep uphill walks, sometimes very challenging but absolutely worth it...love this area...

Breathtaking scenery! We spotted 3 red squirrel, hairy coo's and plenty of deer.

The lochs were amazing, each one with its own individuality. Went for a walk along the lochside of Loch Laggan, we felt we were in paradise!

Raw nature, vast and bleak. Feels remote and at times as if you are nowhere near any other humans, even though we mostly followed the well-trodden path. There are mountains and lochs everywhere you look.
A few times, I paused just to appreciate the absolute silence.
We visited in April and so avoided the midges, but also got lucky with snow-capped mountains and nearly a week of clear skies.

One of my favourite places. Our Christmas every year with our dogs. Sadly we lost one of our boys last year, so some of his ashes and favourite things are forever here too now. Amazing scenery, lots to do and very friendly.

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day as we drove through the Cairngorm National Park. The sun was splitting the sky so much, we were sweating and had to have the A/C on. That didn't stop us from admiring the natural beauty that Scotland has to offer. It's one of the most gorgeous scenic drives we've ever had and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Even if it was raining it would be stunning. Scotland just has that way of capturing your heart like that.
Do yourself a favour and take a drive this summer through the Cairngorm National Park, I promise you it will not disappoint!

Such incredible beauty on any road you take to drive. You can find almost all the activities and whatever you wish in a national park. Very big and vast yet well maintained for the public to travel and adore the natural beauties all around. Many historic sites,highland wildlife park, mountain tops, several birds, lakes, picturesque small villages, small and big castles. this place won't disappoint a single minute you stay here. we took many roads to go through the national park to reach our destinations and it was all very beautiful.

My home area...and an incredibly beautiful place to be! There's everything you can imagine to do here: hiking, camping, skiing, scenic drives, rare wildlife, historical sites, windblown mountain tops, sailing, swimming, eateries, picturesque villages, royal castles... too much to list! Just come see for yourself!
