Had most fun at Richardson’s Day Boat Hire today, the staff are great and very polite, the boats are a dream… little trip down the river, probably the most relaxing thing we’ve done in ages. I must say, we were very worried if we can drive the boat ourselves, but after a short training from one of the staff members we really enjoyed and realised it’s easier than riding a bike, the views are fantastic also. Thanks to Greg we had a lovely day and we will return soon with family and friends for a longer trip!

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, shown to our boat and sent on our way in under 10 mins. The boat was very clean, comfortable, spacious and quieter than an equivalent fossil fuel one. A great way to explore the broads.
We moored the boat in a couple of rather idyllic locations, took our time enjoying the local area , the scenery and the food and generally lost track of time! So had to call Richardson Boating Holidays saying we might get delayed beyond our scheduled return time of 3:00 pm. They were super cool about it and said that’s not an issue at all. When we finally rocked up to return the boat , it was was almost 4:45 pm and we were late by almost an hour and three quarters.Yet Richardson Boating Holidays did nor charge us anything extra! Which was super nice of them.
Overall, we had a fabulous day made special by the great service provided by Richardson Boating Holidays. We will certainly be using them again and recommending them to our friends .
