Everything is very high quality and the steak are large thick and delicious I was very impressed with their outstanding and wider selection of meats, the shop is very clean and well-organized

Soooo good and way more affordable than the supermarkets. They also customize orders the way you want it. And the package is just better than anything else I have seen

It was our first time visiting this butchery and the meat we bought was of a really outstanding quality. We enjoyed our BBQ with their juicy Brazilian tenderloin steak ;).

Great quality and service and very good prices too. Marinated and mixed products are ideal for quick meals or BBQs. The place is always very clean too

Great Camp Site, very basic but all the better for it, good space, nice atmosphere, good security. Easy going responsive caring organiser. Best for small groups adventure/hiker/climber style not massive silly “bring your home with you” type mega tents.

I booked this campsite for a group of students doing their DofE practice and then assessed expedition, these were students who were respectful and (mostly) quiet.

Mark could not have been more helpful and the students were totally blown away by the site. The site is, as it states, a basic site, but there is a toilet and fresh, clean and plentiful water.

The site is also a working stable and has views, from the badger field, that are wonderful. It suited the remit of the group perfectly and I really could not recommend this campsite highly enough. The students were under canvas on the paddock, which Mark very kindly let us have the whole of on the two weekends we were there, whilst the staff took advantage of the prepitched cozy camping tents.

Members of staff said they would return in a personal capacity, as will I and the DofE from my school have found their campsite in the Peak District! Perfect!

Nice location with 'cozy', well mown and marked, camping paddocks (as others on here have said). Our stay was spoilt by a rowdy group playing loud music toll around 2am. Also by the worse than 'basic' toilet and shower. Frankly it (they are both in a single pokey hole inside an old caravan, with a badly fitted door) were filthy, pokey, littered with detritus and inadequate for even the very few people staying when we were there. Dirt and mould and broken or ill-fitting facilities aren't rustic or charming they are simply unacceptable. Build a proper shower and loo and I'd give it 5*. As it is I will neither revisit, nor recommend.

Little bit confusing initially arriving working out where to go to get access to the gate but once in everything was as expected, shower facilities good, clean and easy. Good value

a lovely stripped back campsite. small scale and in a brilliant location for hiking. Mark was lovely and the ethos of the place made for a peaceful, back to basics place to set up our tent for the weekend.

Lovely campsite with great views through the trees to Bamford Edge. Very peaceful and quiet. Mark (owner) was extremely helpful over the phone with booking and information about the site. Would stay again.
