I used to live in area... and hamda mosque was one of my fav... in 2013 i performed Taraweeh prayer there was a egyptian imam i was crying to meet him again because at that time he went ajman parmently and i never listen his recite again i really missed thaat time... love from pakistan just for his voice...

Fabulous area and atmospheric ruins of a mighty castle. Plenty to explore and climb for the kids but a few out of bounds places too. A long winding ascent from the beach car park, which has food, drink and public toilets.

Fantastic beach, free parking, big walk up to the castle but well worth the effort and free entry as well

It's a bit of steep walk up to castle but once there the views are gorgeous out over the bay.

Good car park on the estuary with colourfull cottages down the side. Toilets and a cafe too. Believe it is free, but there is also a second car park just a short distance away that is definitely free (no over night camping).

Very popular carpark overlooking the Towy Estuary across to Ferryside. Good toilet facilities and shop. There is a good walk to the Llansteffan Castle but it was too hot to make it.

This is one of my favourite castles. The walk up is pretty steep but it is in most castles. The views are spectacular. It was a nice day and we could see Worms Head as well as along the coastline. It is beautiful. Well worth a visit. The benches in the picture were perfect for us to stop and get our breath back. My only disappointment was that we were too late in the day to get icecream ???????? Definitely need to come earlier next time.

Easy parking close to the sands with refreshment places. Castle is easy to access. A beautiful quiet place to walk and take in the history.
