Liked: Location was fantastic, just a short walk to a lovely beach and costal walk, facilities were spotless and I really mean spotless, all staff were really friendly and helpful.
There were no loud crowds and and plenty of space to pitch our tent. The local pub is a 2 min walk, although it was in need of a bit of TLC, it has a lovely garden, food was decent, a couple of nice ales inside (looked like we just missed a beer and cider festival in the garden) and again the staff were super friendly. We are a couple and a dog, this is a lovely quiet site that is great for a getaway from it all feel, we had a great time and will definitely return again.

Disliked: No dislikes, but more of a recommendation, I had some
flimsy tent pegs that struggled to get in the ground, I would advise having some decent pegs.

Liked: Nice quiet location, Short walk to pub and beach.
Agree with other reviews that the toilets and showers are the cleanest that we have ever found on a campsite. To keep them to that standard with the number of people using them is commendable. Well done. Even my wife used them, she normally uses our vans toilet and shower.

Liked: Great flat well drained site. All grass pitches. Great view in lighthouse view of the lighthouse and the Church. Small, pretty village. Village shop and pub. A few minutes walk to the coastal path.
Owners really friendly and direct you to your pitch. Small shop on site selling a good selection.
Toilets and showers modern and extremely clean. Cleaned throughout the day. Well maintained, quiet site with all the facilities you need.

Disliked: Nothing. It was good value for money.

Liked: Such a peaceful site. The shower and toilet facilities were the cleanest that I have ever seen on a campsite. Lovely welcome by the reception who explained everything to me..small shop on site for basics and local pub 15 minutes walk away that do food. Beach is close by with some stunning views. Highly recommended.

Liked: Such a clean and tidy site with immaculate facilities.
Check-in was super easy, we weren’t on EHU so could pick where we pitched.
The shop has everything you’d need for a stay, so no need to panic if you forget something.
The site is short walk from a lovely beach, along with nice coast path walks, a tiny shop in the village, really nice fresh fish shop and a friendly pub with good food and ales.
We will be back!

Liked: Lovely camp site in a good location with views of the church and lighthouse. Beach is a few minutes walk away, but the camp site is sheltered from the sea winds.

Other reviews said how clean the facilities were, but even then I was impressed, they are really clean and excellent.

nice 7 mile walk and also a nice walk to East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden which is well worth a visit.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

would I recommend this site - YES!

Liked: Barbara and Mike were extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. We were shown directly to our pitch which was flat, always a good thing, with electric and water hook up. The site toilet and shower blocks are spotlessly clean, the lady that cleans them is fabulous! There is a shop on site which has a good selection of items that you may need. There are views of the lighthouse and church depending on where your pitch is. There is not any Wi-Fi but this doesn’t bother us at all! The pub, The Hill House is a short walk away, Sunday roast was delicious! The beach is about a 10 minute walk. Sadly this is being affected by corrosion but it’s still accessible for walks, the dogs loved it. The village has a small shop, but we just used the one on site. There are plenty of walks and places to explore around. This is probably the cleanest and best site we have stayed on for a long time! We will definitely come back for another stay.

Disliked: Nothing at all!

Wow! We were seriously impressed with this place. The organisation of the pitches without feeling restricted was fantastic. The easy walk to the beach was ideal. What makes this place so special is the effort the staff go through to make it so clean and welcoming. There was a lovely lady (sorry didn’t get her name) ensuring the toilets/laundry/and washing area was cleaner than any hotel I’ve ever been too! The staff in the shop were so friendly and nothing was overpriced. Would definitely recommend and we will absolutely be back!
