The best doctors practice! Myself and my 3 children always manage to get a telephone appointment should we need one and the doctor is always happy to see us should we still need further guidance, diagnosis and/or medication. Very professional and friendly reception staff too! Keep up the good work ????

I was previously at another practice in Newark, where I struggled to get through to the practice, nevermind get an appointment.
I can only recommend Lombard Street Practice.
I have been using this service for several years and find it easy to get an appointment. The desk staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful. I have always managed to get an appointment or speak to a doctor at the very least on the same day and am truly grateful to have such a professional team of people looking after mine and my family's health and welfare.

Since moving to Newark, me and my family have had 7 appointments at this Doctors. All were same-day. The hold-time at 8am is between 5-15 minutes.

Receptionists were fine

Doctors were fine (all diagnosis were spot on).

What more could you want?

I suspect a lot of the 1-star reviews are chavvy people who don't know how to speak to people nicely and politely. That goes a long way in all walks of life. Unfortunately not enough is being done to get rid of these types of people.

I moved to Newark last June and so please I chose Lombard medical practice as everyone has been brilliant. Extremely nice, professional and thorough. I've needed several appointments and referrals and was sorted very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this practice to anyone.

Just dreadful. Almost impossible to get an appointment. The receptionists act like they are doing you a favour when they bother to do their jobs. They constantly send out generic text messages asking you to stay away. Does the NHS exist to serve the people, or is it the other way around? The actual medical staff are fine, but the bloated admin side is like something from Communist Russia

Excellent service in very difficult times right across the NHS. We changed from another practice in the town and wished we had done so much earlier. The receptionists go out of their way to be helpful even though they get considerable flak from some patients. All the clinical and non clinical staff we have met are lovely. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant service from this surgery. Rang in an afternoon last week, to speak to someone. Got called back in less than an hour. Scans arranged by the end of that day . Had scans today, results due Friday.

Absolutely disappointing surgery. I rang for an health check with the nurse. Was told by the receptionist and her senior that they no longer do routine health checks. I can prove this is not true. On the governments website all patients have a health checks at their gp surgery every 5 years. I am 63 and never had one. Negligence comes to mind.
