We purchased a bed from R2R FURNITURE LLC. During the purchase process, I was guided that the bed would look like in the photo on the seller's website and was assembled qualitatively.
The bed does not meet the stated characteristics and looks like it was in use:
1. The bed was assembled with gross structural violations and the floor was damaged.
The photo on the website shows that the bed should not lie on the floor, but should stand on legs – 2-3 cm. The bed delivered to us has no legs. It has pads installed, which are usually used for lighter furniture (chairs, bedside tables).
Thus, these pads under the heavy weight of the bed leave deep scratches on the floor. Now, we are forced to change part of the floor in the bedroom at our own expense.
2. The bottom of the bed is not fixed. Thus, the storage space cannot be used for its intended purpose.
3. The bed is assembled from low-quality materials. For example, rusty screws were used during assembly, some of the screws are missing, incomprehensible holes are left on the coating.
4. Turning the bed on its side, we found a sharp screw sticking out of it (photo in the attachment). The bed is not only poorly assembled, but also unsafe to use.
I has contacted the company many times (by phone, whatsapp, e-mail) with a request to eliminate defects or pick up the bed as defective and return the money for it. It was not possible to get a clear answer. Most of our requests are ignored.
Now, due to the seller's fault, we are unable to use the bedroom and have to sleep on the sofa, which is extremely inconvenient for a family with a small child. Also, due to the fault of the seller, we are forced to change part of the damaged floor at our own expense.
