My fave burger place absolutely live their service in any branch !! I love their mango spice burger the most it’s literally my favorite forever and they have the best drink ever the rose lemonade fentiments is sOoo good do try it & they have a KIDS MEAL NOW

I had been for dinner with a couple of friends at this branch of high joint . It’s a small branch with limited indoor seating .
The staff is friendly and welcoming.
I tried their latest addition to their menu , the double ribs high burger and asian wings .
The burger was amazing taste-wise, quantity a bit small for the price .
The wings are also good and they do provide gloves as it can get messy while eating the wings .
Overall a great experience.

Honestly speaking they should have a dry experience in the jumeirah but otherwise it’s an excellent joint. They should serve Redbull cans.

The new menu at high joint is insane. Pretty much everything we tried on the menu was outstanding! Waffle waffle is the absolute best! Buffalo chicken with waffle and maple syrup was absolutely incredible. If you have to get one thing off the menu, this has to be it! Space is small but the food & the service makes up for it!

The Burger is delicious ????, especially their best seller beef burger. If you like chicken then go for the spicy mango chicken burger. And you must try the vinegar fries ???? will get you obsessed. It is hard to find parking so order time ahead. Overall, great burgers ????

The waffle waffle chicken burger with maple syrup. It was amazing I would rate it 5/5 but the sweet I didn’t like it much especially the cake is 0/5 but the vanilla ice cream is ur typical vanilla so it’s fine. But what I was disappointed it that we were told that if we “ step down from the car we would get discount or the dessert for free “ but instead we paid for everything.. credit for the staff for being fun and entertaining but it was a sad ending as the complimentary gift we got was wipes...

Found out about this High Joint branch from Instagram. It is far and can only be found if following directions (off highway and rear of a building). We wanted to try it so while on our way to Fujairah, we headed to HJ for a late lunch. The restaurant is tiny with the seating style being high chairs against counters.

On the experience, the staff was super friendly and helpful. For the food, we looked at the menu and noticed that it’s a different menu from the other branch. We ordered the H burger, the chicken waffle sandwich, BBQ wings, boneless strips, truffle fries, high fries and the cinnamon funnel cake with ice cream, dulce de leche, and cinnamon Cheerios desert called Horlicks (collaboration with @flour.girldxb (Instagram)). Flavor of everything we ordered was unique and delicious. Beef patties were very tender, buns supper soft, chicken made just right. The desert……..mmmmmm……..it was awesomely delicious ???? . We already decided that we’ll stop for dinner on the way back from Fujairah ????

What can be improved? I think drinks should be converted to unlimited refills (fountain) ???? also, adopt the same menu in the two branches.

Overall: nice experience and delicious food. Thumbs up ????????

Tried the High joint at Al khawaneej, they have won some awards for being the best burger place in town.. So expectations were quite high.

Truffle fries were good, burgers were just about OK didn't find a reason why they won the best burger award. Waffle burger was a good concept but not so great sauce.
The H burger which is there best burger as per the crew there didn't quite enjoy t same.

I visited this church on a Wednesday morning last summer while I was on a hill-walking holiday in Shropshire, many miles away from my Kentucky home. Two things brought me here: my love for English church architecture and curiosity about the sheela na gig above one of the side doors.

As I was having a stroll through the interior, one of the vicars (or curates or rectors or deacons... I don't know my clergy vocabulary, though I am newly Anglican) entered and greeted me. He kindly informed me that a Holy Communion service was set to start in just a few minutes and invited me to stay, which I eagerly did. I joined a clutch of older Church Strettonians in worship, and they very warmly welcomed me.

I came back for Sunday morning worship and again was welcomed in very enthusiastically. St. Laurence's seems to be a thriving and age-diverse congregation. What a joy it was to worship with them. I wish them all the best as they shine a light in this part of England, and I heartily thank them for their kindness to this wayfaring stranger.

Don't just walk past this church. Take time to look inside at the roof construction and outside there is a sheela na gig above the sealed off door.

Not the best venue for political hustings. The excitement of the night snuffed out by the pleas for politeness and then the vicar belting out his prayers. The net result was a contest without any passion. Hopefully sparks will really fly at the hustings in Oldbury, Handsworth and Smethwick later this week.

St Laurence's Church has been modernised, no pews instead one is offered a comfortable chair. The entrance is impressive and one must compete for parking in the nearby streets.
