Honest review, as a vegetarian it is hard to find places to eat and to find good vegetarian food is even harder. I must say, this was one of the best veggie burgers I have had. You have to try it! Hotel Beastro, please don't change your recipe or anything this was an incredible veggie burger. Beyond the food the overall restaurant is great and the costume/dressed up staff are really friendly!

Today I had the worst experience when I went in for my blood test at Rapheals House. I got to reception and handed in my form and was asked to take a seat. The receptionist came out and started shouting at me and accusing me of not reading my text messages. She kept saying that my appointment was cancelled and I should of read my messages. When she gave me a chance to speak I told her I did not receive any messages and she constantly kept shouting at me to check my phone. I had shown my phone to her, she was very quick to say you did not receive it, but with no apology for her behaviour and rudenes. I was actually mortified by her behaviour and felt a bit embarrassed as there were other patients sitting the waiting area. Once I saw the phlabotamist she told me that it was not my appointment that was cancelled and the receptionist spoke to wrong person. The receptionist did not apologise for her rude behaviour at all
I will definitely avoid this place for future reference!!

went to raphael house today to see a gp. the place is overcrowded and lacks space and chairs. the toilet facilities for woman was ridiculous. the toilet was hardly off the ground more like childs toilet in school - being a relatively new building why was this toilet installed. there is another toilet which does have a proper size toilet but this was busy. if you have had a hip replacement or knee replacement it is unusable.

bad planning - this needs replacing swo that people can use it.

Only used this centre for blood tests so can only review that area. Opens at 8.30 am but people start queuing way before that. Expect about an hours wait which is probably less than you would at Queens Hospital. Building is old and tired, no place to get any refreshments but the waiting room is on a ticket system so you can judge how long you will have to wait. Usually only two phlebotomists working but they're usually very friendly and efficient.

I have just attended the centre for a blood test after booking on the phone 3 weeks ago.

On entering the woman at the reception was extremely unwelcoming and rude.

It’s the first time I have ever attended a clinic for a blood test and was unaware (was not informed by GP or booking staff) that I need a form.

The first thing I was welcomed with was not hello, do you have your form? Or any other acceptable welcome, instead I was greeted with “where’s your form” in the most horrid tone by some older woman.

When I tried to explain that I’m not sure what form she was talking about and this was my first time I was just told in the continued horrid tone that I need to go back to my GP and they can’t do it. Also told “I should have known, everyone knows they need a form”

This may be the most rudest woman I have encountered. It was very frustrating that I had wasted my time due to someone else’s incompetence of not informing me what I need but to then be made to feel stupid and verbally shooed away, as if by still standing there talking I was an inconvenience was just awful.

I’ll not rebook with this centre.

Went to Victoria Hospital for the covid jab, along with my husband. Hadn't been there for years , Parking was s bit difficult, but staff were helping. The army and nurses were doing the vaccine, and they were all very polite and friendly. Overall a good job well done

I had my COVID vaccine today. I am petrified of vaccines and was very upset. I think the staff were fantastic from the lady in the car park and right the way through to all staff inside and especially the 2 ladies who was with me whilst having the vaccine. It was very well organised and I’m very thankful to everyone for making me feel at ease.

Was called yesterday Sunday 31st Jan out of the blue about 3 oclock and asked if was available to have my first Covid jab at 3.30. Arrived by car and car park marshals showed me where to park and where to go, all very organised. Army medical staff administered the vaccine, plus all the other staff who booked you in and showed you where to go. Back home by 3.40! How bad was that! Well done to everybody, excellent.

Tis true.
There are quite times at this popular blood testing centre. Just don't join the early morning rush.
We visited at 1:00pm on a Tuesday and we were the only customers.
Staff are always great and overworked so don't blame them for the delays - the NHS needs more resources.
