The advert showing picture 1 gives the impression of being remote. The large building seen is actually multiple properties and the thin walls mean neighbours can be heard talking. Also notes around the house threatening additional costs if the washing up isn't done did not go down well.

Wonderful time was had by all. Cottage had everything you need and views to die for... You can swim in the Loch which is a real treat if the weather is good. Nice walks and other lochs and views nearby. The nearest shop is 25 minutes away, so bring what you need..

On the ground floor the cottage has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and family bathroom with walk in shower idea for those who struggle with stairs, and a further double and twin upstairs along with another bathroom with a bath.

The kitchen is small but has everything you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area is fine for 6-8. The living area is in two sections and hs wonderful views of the Loch.

Outside there is car parking for 2, 3 cars at a push. The veranda is a wonderful quiet place. Along the side of the cottage is a bbq.

We will be coming back...

What else can I say about lochside cottage but excellent. The cottage was spotless, comfortable with lots of room and the children loved it. The log fire was like hypnotherapy for me and the bed was amazing ive not slept so well in yrs. I totally recommend this beautiful cottage to all and we all intend to go back xxx

We have just had a long weekend at this amazing cottage. As soon as we stepped inside we felt comfortable, if smelt clean and fresh and we had a lovely welcome pack for us and our dog Bentley. It had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. We will be going back, 3 days wasn't enough to do all the walks around us. It was nice to have the cafe near us and we enjoyed watching the ferry arrive and even some people braved the cold Loch and had a swim. No more needs to be done to improve this cottage as far as we are concerned. (Thank you to the cleaner who did an amazing job)

The cottage was amazing, homely and had lots of lovely touches for humans and dogs alike, watching the birds from the warmth of the lounge was fantastic. The views of Loch Katrine and the Scottish landscape was beautiful and unparalleled a dream house in a dream location x loved it and will definitely be back maybe summer this time ????????????????

The location and views from this lovely cottage can't be beaten. And the cycle round Loch Katrine is one of the most beautiful I've done. A great place to base yourself for cycling, walking and exploring The Trossachs.

Lovely house in a lovely location, the helpful owner but need to clean more in hidden parts and maintenance.
