Spend the evening for sushi and dim sum. Very nice ambience, most high table, soft light and lounge music in the background, very relaxing.
Sushi was really good and we could get as much, dim sum just normal.
Bar is very well equipped.
Because was my wife birthday, we got a complimentary cake.
Staff are very gentle and kind.

Average Food - OK Ambiance - Inattentive Staff - PASS

Went to this place with a lot of expectations based on the online reviews, but came back massively disappointed.

Food: We went to try the Unlimited Sushi and Dim Sum offer. The sushi selection was very ordinary with the vegetable sushi particularly tasteless and stale. The dim sum was rather insipid. We told the server that one of the people in the group was allergic to shellfish but the server forgot and brought all the dim sum together, with the allergen-filled one sitting next to the ones my colleague could eat.

Service: Aside from the point mentioned above, the serving staff was all around us but just not paying attention to us. We literally had to grab the server to get them to take care of the problem we were facing.

Ambiance: Maybe the DJ didn’t get the note that this is meant to be a Japanese or at least Japanese-inspired place. There’s a limit to how much electro music one can swallow with their Asian-inspired evening.

In short —- give it a miss!

I visited the place as I heard they serve good sushi and I wasn't disappointed, the sushi was fantastic and the fish was very fresh, The dumplings were amazing. I did however not like the fact that I went for their offer of unlimited sushi, in the offer it says unlimited sushi and dumplings but In reality it's only 3 kinds or sushi rolls 1 salmon 1 tuna 1 veggie and 2 nigiri, salmon and white fish and 4 types of dumplings , the selection was super limited and the offer didn't mention anything about it being a fixed selection which to me threw the experience off. I would definitely recommend the place for the food as it was very good but won't recommend the sushi offer. Overall the place was amazing and I had fun

The place is beautiful, the people is very kindly and the food delicious!!!
So affordable price and so many options .
We tried 3 different rolls (tempura, California, and Salmon ) I can’t choose what is the best. Glass of wine for drink.
The desert was a sharing Mochi ice cream, but unfortunately this doesn’t like (the quality not matched with the other food)

God’effing damn it’s good! Just go. Plan to spend and you’ll redefine your trips to Dubai. It’s a bar, a restaurant and and event. Bring your besties/other and prepare for a great night. The food, the service, the music all combine in perfect harmony. The barman Lemon is a legend!!!! Just go!!!

Ikigai restaurant and bar has newly launched Izakaya night brunch on Friday evenings and we enjoyed the brunch offering. Expect unlimited drinks, range of sushi, sashimi, tempura, salads and more. The venue transports to the streets of Southeast Asia and the vibe is lively. Definitely a must-try if you like sushi and Asian food!

Very underrated place in Dubai Marina. Was surprised there were not many people. We used entertainer for their brunch and overall good value for money on a house beverage brunch. Thanks to Rashid, Lamuel the bartender and Akhail our brunch was lovely. Free flowing drinks and amazing sushi platters. Thanks guys you are the best
