I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ikkayees Restaurant in Dubai, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant ambiance that set the tone for an evening filled with culinary delights.
The restaurant's decor is modern and stylish, creating an inviting atmosphere. The seating arrangements are comfortable and spacious, providing ample privacy for intimate conversations. The lighting is well thought out, striking the right balance between a relaxed and sophisticated dining environment.

Outdoor seating u003d good. Ginger tea u003d really hot and excellent.

Pazham pori (banana fry) was OK, but was cold. Unniappam was not to my taste, dry.

We came here for dinner on Saturday. Parking was the one challenge we faced. It took more than half an hour to get the parking.

We reached ikkayees around 11pm. The restaurant was full at that time and we had to wait there for our turn. They took our contact number and told us that they will contact us.

There is one waiting area on the side of the restaurant. Some people were having their food in this area also. But personally I will not recommend this as the municipality took waste at the same time while we were waiting there.

The restaurant took orders from us at this time. After 15 minutes, we got a call from the restaurant that our seat is ready. We enter to the restaurant and waited for our food. Within 10 minutes our dishes came. We ordered Chicken varutharachathu, neypathal, poratta and samaver tea.

Chicken Varutharachathu - taste was good. My daughter also likes it very much and she is given a score of 5/5. We all liked it.

Neypathal - The best one I had till now.

Poratta - Nice one. Soft and layered.

Samaver Tea - Good one.

Brilliant ambience, well maintained and premium decor.
Food was average Kerala style food as any other restaurants around the location. Tried lunch and dinner on different occasions. Weekends much crowded.

Ikkayees has two restaurants located close to each other. One serves North Indian cuisine, like briyani, grills, etc and the other one serves a south Indian menu.
We tried North Indian cuisine, however found Hyderabad chicken briyani ???? in the menu and ordered it. The taste was delicious ????. Mutton briyani was so good and worth buy. Tried Thali, worth.
Ample RTA parking. Free on Sunday.
Good ambience.
Service and patience to listen to the request need to be mentioned.
We enjoyed the food.
They do have snack and Tea. Tea was superb.

Food varieties : Good
Food taste: Good, but did not feel extraordinary
Food cost: dishes in menu card seems of medium cost while the special dishes of the weekend was pretty costly ( nearly 40aed) on the account quality and quantity. Did not feel worth it.
Services : Normal services and are not as expected.

Just my personal opinion.
But do try atleast once.

Long waits
Sleepy service, poor food quality,
I ordered one avocado juice & lemon Mint that was the worst drinks i ever had
Unprofessional behavior of the staffs i am pretty much disappointed with whole service
The only positive I felt is overall ambiance
Ghee rice & chicken curry not recommended at all
Tried the chicken chatti chore I tried hard to find a piece of chicken from that

I had a terrible experience at Ikkayees restaurant and would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. During my visit, I found that all the snacks I ordered were served cold, which was very disappointing. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, they didn't bother to heat the food before serving it to my table, which was simply unacceptable.

The tea was even worse than the food. It was the worst I've ever had in the area and tasted like it was almost 95% water. It was also served cold, which was another letdown.

On top of that, the porotta I ordered was not fresh at all. It was clear that it had been made a few hours prior and left to sit, which made it hard and unpleasant to eat.

Overall, I found the entire experience at Ikkayees restaurant to be extremely disappointing. The cold food, terrible tea, and stale porotta all suggest that the kitchen staff lacks attention to detail and doesn't care about their customers' satisfaction. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and strongly suggest they improve their food quality and service if they want to stay in business.
