I just travelled with an orchestra and had to transfer this group of 63 people from Edinburgh to the ferry port in Cainryan. A VERY detailed complete luaggage list including instruments and their sizes and weights had been provided prior to the booking request several MONTH (not a day!) BEFORE. BUT this is what you might get with CoachScanner when Joshua Davies confirms:

"That is correct it will be for 2 x 49 seater coaches so will allow plenty of room for luggage and instruments. Thanks, Josh"

The pictures of these two busses had been provided (white bus with blue seats). A day before departure I had to call myself and ask for the drivers contact details. THERE I was informed that instead of 2x 49 seater coaches, 1x 51 seater and 1x 24 seater will be provided. There was no way to change this the day before despite all my concerns and complains. Of course luggage became an issue and we had to use free seats in the 51 seater and not only luggage was squeezed like sardines. Passemgers too!!!! The 51 seater wasn't the comfort shown in the initial pictures as well. The quality and capacities of the 24 seater someone can appreciate on the other 2 fotos. Not only that luggage didn't fit by far, this very old 24 seater was noisy, uncomfortable and offered minimum legspace. Luckily the drivers from Coach Direct (CoachScanner is only a broker) have been very friendly and helped to solve the situation. Nevertheless packing problems delayed the departure and no toilet in the 24 seater increased the travel time. We just caught the ferry ... plus all the unpleasant extra stress the day before and during the journey.

Joshua Davies and his manager Irshad Khan have been always friendly but I think communication to their provider has been suboptimal. Any kind request for compensation has been ignored until today, which is very disappointing. CoachScanner looks like this type of companies who try to make business by low quotes but you don't know what value for money you get in the end. You might be lucky ... or NOT!

Used this service to get me and a bunch of my Rugby team to our away match in Bath. Everything went smoothly and had a great chat with the driver. Loved the coach that arrived too.

Great Price and Service. The coach turned on time and the driver was very attentive. CoachScanner exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond. Would Highly recommend.

Booked a trip for 50 passengers from London to Newcastle. Got a very good price and received excellent customer service (Reece) leading up to the journey. The coach was pleasant and the driver (James) was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Coach Scanner were extremely helpful from first point of contact right through to completion of our journeys. The coach drivers themselves were super friendly and helpful. We received a text from our pick up coach 10 minutes in advance of our leaving time, announcing he was already at the venue.
The reason I have not given 5 stars is that 10 minutes after I booked and paid the deposit, I had another quote come through which was £54 cheaper. Coach Scanner could not refund the difference, but did say that they would try to offer some discount if we re-booked again at a later date. Problem is, this was a one off booking!
All in all though, very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Booking through coachscanner was quick and simple and it was very easy to make ammendments to my booking. I also received a great price for my journey. Our driver was on time to pick us up, really friendly and even came to collect us earlier than the stated time so we didn't have to wait around in the cold. Great service!

Unreliable and unresponsive. Booked 2 coaches for a wedding party. 2 days before the event I had to chase up for driver numbers only to be told one coach got cancelled. They did arrange a alternative coach which was like something from the 80's. It was around 25 degrees that day and the coach had no air con, no way to open any windows and a 1.5hr journey.

I contacted coachscanner the next day and was told to email in the complaint. 9 days after sending the email failing to get a response I called coachscanner and asked them how they are dealing with my complaint. I was told the managers were on a conference call and someone will get back to me. No one got back to me. Their communication is non existent, value for customer is zero. Save yourself the trouble and book directly with a reputable coach company.

Coachscanner couldn't care less about their customers experience. On both journeys to and from our destination the coach arrived at least 3 hours late, moreover for the return journey a coach turned up that was too small to fit everyone that it needed to, even though the receipt clearly stated we had booked a coach with more seats. Nothing was done to help us and in the end many people were left stranded miles from home. Would highly suggest paying the little bit extra for a reliable company.
