It’s the best platform to learn all kind of art forms.. All staff are well trained and they know how to teach based on the age level of students. And here we can choose the class timings and it is very flexible .. My dance guru is Ms. Devika she is also well trained and she doesn’t want anybody to be lazy in her class.. I stopped dance since past 7 years ago, now due to my passion I joined here ,based on the interactions with them I realized that they can teach me the best..

One of the best places in UAE to learn all the art forms. Myself and my husband have been associated with this institute to learn dance and carnatic vocal music respectively for almost 1.5 years now. The instructors are really awesome. Special mention to my dance instructor Ms Devika, she is one of the best I have known. As a working woman, it is always tiring after work. It is a great relaxation and a good exercise to learn dance. Learning dance with Devika Ma'am is really an amazing experience as she is well balanced in her teaching, she is very jovial and strict as well because of which I enjoy her teaching. She knows what she is teaching, she neither quits nor allow us to quit until we learn any step properly. This is one of her best characteristics, as she makes sure that we learn each step properly and not just for the sake of teaching. In a very short span of time, which is within approx 6 months, I was able to do my arangettam. She is an amazing teacher! Within 6 months, I have got chance to perform 4 dances in Dubai. The management is super friendly. Thanks to Kalamandalam UAE for giving opportunity to their students.

I had joined kalamandalam about 4 years ago and there's absolutely no doubt that this is the finest institute to learn Indian classical dance, singing, musical instruments, Bollywood dance and even art!
In particular, the teachers and staff are competent and welcoming.
Currently, I am learning Bharatanatyam with Ms Devika and I must say that her dance abilities and skill set are unparalleled. She teaches every step with utmost perfection. She has polished our adavus and items with many practice sessions.
Highly recommend the teacher as well as the institute!

I have been a learning classical , both mohiniyattam and bharatnatyam @ Kalamandalam for over a year now. And I have had a very nice experience at the institute , it is a fun place at the same time professional also.
All the credit for this experience goes to my teacher - Devika. She has been extremely instrumental in helping me pick up my classical dance vibes from where I left it years ago. I have also had the opportunity in being a part of 3-4 stage performances in this short while. She has given me the confidence to perform without fear and being out the best in me each time. Also has supported me whenever I have faltered. She is extremely respectful as a person and also is strict whenever required which only has helped me do the best!
I have read couple of reviews saying that she is abusive , which I found very amusing and completely untrue. She is strict which is very much needed in such a dance form but not abusive by word or physically. This is something which you can experience if you are her student.
Thank you Devika teacher for all the lovely classes looking forward to lot more opportunities to dance under your guidance !

Me and my friend joined kalamandalam in the month of feb as the class timings were very flexible. We have had horrible experience with the bharathanatyam teacher devika who was not professional enough. I had been learning dance since my 3rd grade. But the teacher would always degrade my dance gurus. She is extremely moody at times and beats us up for pleasure. She asks very personal details and tries to indulge in unnecessary talks which we were not comfortable with. We have discontinued the classes. Would love to join if the management replaces with a more passionate teacher.

I am learning both Mohiniyattam and Bharathanatiyam under this institute. The institution itself gives you a positive vibes. My teacher Devika is extremely professional and good. I am actually new to dance. She is the one who gave me confidence to move forward and helped me learning to perfection. And in short span of time I performed two stage shows. Thanks to her…
I saw some degradable comments on her… I am surprised to see that. In my experience I am totally satisfied with the teacher and the institute and will recommend to others also.

Appreciate the efforts of keeping on this traditional institute in a good and professional way. Wonderful classes by well trained teachers for all age groups and all art forms. My daughter is learning Bharatanatyam with Ms.Devika, she takes the great & sincere effort in training and practicing the student.
