I have tried their achari khichdi today. Food taste was below average. It’s not the authentic style what it should be. Clearly understanding that after order they may mixed the basmati rice and lentil together where it should be cooked together to get a real taste. Flavor was mild, quantity was just ok and the papad they give that is also like damm. Not crispy as it should be. And all of this in highly price. So therefore the money is waste but if you don’t have option then no choice than eat there. I suggest restaurant team to look into their price , if they could come with some nice deal then nearest all office people will start to having their lunch there instead of bringing or maybe they can introduce staff meal or staff discounts which should be affordable daily. By this you can achieve some more footfall and revenue but for sure it can be excluded in online and in that case food taste, flavor and authenticity should be taken care.

Have visited their Qusais branch multiple times and they never disappointed me. Tried their Andhra Masala Dosa and Poori Bhaji and both were good, but the filter coffee was a disaster.

A great place for a wholesome and tasty meal.

Love their Masala Dosa and Thali.

This visit we just tried their Mango Lassi and Fesh Lime Soda and loved them.

Do try any of their venues you won't be disappointed

What a welcome feeling to find authentic Kamat food in Dubai... Great service and large portions... Excellent and highly recommend ????????

Excellent restaurant for pure Vegetarian Indian and Chinese food.
We ordered Pani Puri (which was So so by the way) and chilli toast sandwich.
We also had Vegetable Seseme fingers which was nice and crispy served with schezuan sauce.
In main course we had Pav Bhaji which had generous quantity of bhaji and was tasty.
We also tried the Chinese dishes I.e. Tofu in hot garlic sauce and veg fried rice. The tofu was a bit chewy but the gravy was tasty.
In deserts we had Tiramisu, Gulab Jamun and angoori Rabdi which were all yummy.
The staff was very courteous and did excellent service. The decor and ambiance was also very good.
I would surely visit again to relish the other delicacies.

I had South India Dosas, taste was below average. Chats were good.
In the name of filter coffee, they are serving some other thing I believe that too cost 6dhs. Food is not great.
Don't know about North Indian dishes.

I liked their Mysore masala dosa and aaloo paratha! The only disappointment was the aaloo paratha was served with pickle! There was no curd along. I had to separately order it and their chai was not good at all. I returned it.

The front staff has really bad attitude towards pick-up orders. It seemed to be last of their priorities. I am never going again at Kamat.

I had placed pick-up orders for 9 nos. qty. of sweet deserts (Ras Malai) from Smiles App. It was meant to be consumed by 9 different persons.

The restaurant (Kamat) accepted the order despite they had only 6 nos. Qty. in stock. If they had declined, I would have ordered from elsewhere.

The Manager denied my request to arrange the balance 3 from Gazebo, which is part of the same group but anyway. I agreed to pay extra and get another sweet desert (Gulab Jamun) that was available at Kamat.

After sorting this out, they made me wait 20 mins (if not more) outside the restaurant to collect the order (which is supposed to be ready-made) to only realise and be disappointed after opening that, the restaurant had packed 3 pieces of ras malai in a single container and packed a total of 3 containers, instead of packing all 9 individually.

That was an embarrasing moment for me personally to have a sweet dish shared by office colleagues.

It was meant to be one for each but when I called Kamat, the Manager was so unapologatic and did not show willingness to correct this.

I am never going to KAMAT again or Gazebo for that matter.
