Lovely walk up to the Beeston Bump over the weekend. The views to the top on a clear summers day are extensive and well worth the walk up from either end. Anyone with a decent level of fitness can make it, although there is a hand rail and a bench if you need to catch your breath. There are about 5 benches at the top if you want to sit and enjoy the views and escape the crowds down a Sheringham. Watch out for them pesky seagulls if your taking a picnic up there as they will eat anything! On a sunny day do remember there is no shade so do cover up. As with all these lovely places, visit, enjoy and take your litter home.

What an amazing view from up there. Absolutely stunning place. I could have spent hours there to enjoy the view, the wind, the shore and the weather. The sea appeared in million blue-tunes. It was truly a light-spectacle. Not very steep and easily to climb. Just stunning, honestly!

The 'Bump' is very close to Sheringham, and only a short distance from the Putting g Green if you walk up from the east side of the Sheringham beach front. Not pushchair friendly. It is quite a gentle slope, and you do get views of Sheringham from the top. Cromer Pier is just out of view in the other direction. It's possible to walk to the ruined priory just the other side of the railway line, but no straight line path. A couple of information boards, including details on the WW2 Y-Station.

from the car park. Note the marine zone is just off the coast and you can see the chalk
