Impressive what is actually left for you to see.
There is a clear board that shows off what the castle looked like when you look through it.
There are multiple boards inside and outside the relic, which explains its history and significance.
Go stand inside a piece of history!
I bet you enjoy the beautiful walk along the canal on the way to the castle.

There is a small carpark at the end of the road before the drawbridge over the canal.

Castle only left old walls, not much thing to see. River next to castle has wonderfull sidewalk , good for jogging. Swan family with cute babies gave me nices photos

So much history of this castle. A lot of conservation work has stabilised the building. Set in a beautiful location near the canal

If you’re a stroller and looking for a small walk around the area, it’s a good place to go with family. We’ll cover it up within half an hour and had a dine out as well.

Not too much to see there if the castle but what there is is lively and well signed. Lovely surrounding canal walk to get there

Ancient ruin. Parking the car outside by the canal. Take a scenic walk along to canal tow path. Watch the fishes and ducks swimming in the clear water. The only remaining ruin of this Castle is small. Read all the information boards about this place to understand the significance of its history.

An amazing piece of history in a beautiful location next to the canal. A short walk from the road where there are a few parking spaces

Nice walk along the Basingstoke canal brings you to the ruined castle. Timeless feel about the place, reading the data brought you back to their time. Parking is tight and limited. There's enough room for about 6 to 8 vehicles plus 3 a bit further away. Very peaceful place.
