Didn’t like staffs attitude they were the most least bothered staff ever to even take order or to serve order …I asked her if the breakfast is available and she started to speak in Tagalog to her colleague and laugh ….. I didn’t understand them but it really made me feel as if they were laughing at me. Food was not great as well ????it tasted as if Burger was left over , that lady behind the counter should be polite and respectful not treat customers we pay for Product & service ! ????

Very good scrambled eggs with avocado breakfast item (it's like avocado toast). Their pasta is a little bit inconsistent with the sauce but otherwise, it tastes okay. I like their white sauce ones better than the red ones.

Quality of food and the attentiveness of the staff especially Ace makes me choose to dine her almost everyday. They have a variety of dishes you chose from. Most especially I missed the cheesecake that they used to serve.

The worst pasta ever.

I ordered Pomodoro Pasta and it was bland and dry.

Felt like I was eating plain boiled pasta without any sauce.

Never ordering from this place again.

Great cafe for a quick bit - food is very good and great coffee, best price for coffee around the area with a good loyalty card (free coffee after every 8 purchases)

I visited the George yesterday and had a beautiful coffee.

Chris is the new landlord and has lots of plans for this huge venue... Photos show a large new outside barbecue pit which will serve food on selected days.

The George is a beautifully designed country pub, huge conservatory and masses of outdoor table space with safe fields for the children to play in... The field is Ideal for classic car shows or county fair / swap meets. (Speak to Chris if you need a huge field set in beautiful surrounding with easy access for people and vehicles) ????

Visited here for dinner on a lovely summer evening, surprisingly it wasn't busy. The service was outstanding, as was the food. I had the seared tuna, the whole dish was amazing filled with different flavours and the tuna was cooked to perfection. My partner had the minute steak, which was also very tasty. The desserts were lovely and finished off the perfect meal. The location is beautiful, lovely quiet little country pub, and one definitely not to be missed if you're in the area.
Great team, lovely helpful staff.

Lovely warm welcome and quick service. As it was a weekday there was plenty of choices to sit inside and out . Pleasant garden and super conservatory which would be lovely on a cooler day or evening x my salad was lovely and food is good. Only thing I could improve would be a sandwich rather than the toasted bap which was rather dry . Great choice of drinks on tap and will definitely visit again

Gorgeous setting in a beautiful village, was nice and quiet when we were there ( early on a Weds evening) sat out in the garden, plenty of tables and loads of space, however the food let it down sadly. I had the burger, presentation wasn't great just the burger and small basket of chips on a rather large plate, both chips and burger were just about warm and very bland, once the food was served no one came back to table check us or clear the table when we finished. Very limited menu would have liked a ploughman's which are on the menu along with various sandwiches and that kind of thing but you are not allowed any of that after 2.45.

First time back here in a couple of years, I'm glad to see it is still going. And glad to find they still serve excellent beer. Lovely pint of Pots ale.
Girlfriend had a nice house red. And both had tasty lunch. Batter on the cod n chips was spot. Pan fried Hake and new potatoes. And lovely staff. Polite, friendly and helpful.

Have often passed this very scenic place and wondered what it is like. Some great ales. Traditional decor, reasonably priced and thankfully open during a late Sunday afternoon trek when the heavens opened. Made very welcome by the bar staff. Did not stay for food.

An unusual little 80s time warp. The food was very enjoyable though none of our dishes were exactly as described on the menu. No sparkling water either, which is quite a basic drink. So overall a positive experience but probably not enough to make me go back.
