Small and beautifully managed. A time for peace and just to sit.
All UK disasters listed going back to 19th century.
Plaques with names, ages and addresses of every man and boy lost in the 1901 and 1913 mining disaster.

Lovely location. Very pretty all year round. You may need to clear the snow off when it dose snow here to see some of the tiles.

An incredibly touching place to visit. I had no concept of how many brave lives were lost for coal industry. God bless their souls.
