My recent visit to this South Indian restaurant I stumbled upon through Google, turned out to be a delightful surprise. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with exceptional customer service that went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.

What struck me first was the staff's attentiveness and thoughtfulness. Given my leg injury, walking was challenging, but they promptly brought water to my table, sparing me the inconvenience of going to the restroom to wash my hands. This small gesture spoke volumes about their commitment to their customers' comfort and satisfaction.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! The flavors and aromas that emanated from the kitchen were a testament to the authenticity of their South Indian cuisine. The menu offered a delectable array of dishes, and we couldn't resist trying a variety of them.

Their dosas were simply exquisite—crispy on the outside, yet soft and flavorful on the inside, paired with an assortment of chutneys that tantalized our taste buds. The sambar was rich and robust, complementing the dosas perfectly.

Next, we sampled their biryani, which was a heavenly symphony of spices and tender meat. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their culinary expertise, and it truly paid off in every bite.

We reached there after 10.30 pm, and most of the specials were finished. We ordered beef steak, beef pepper roast, chicken 65, tandoori chicken, fish pollichath , mango salad and bread. The food delivery was really fast, and the table space is really poor. For the first time, we felt bad about the fast delivery, because we can't properly enjoy our food. When it's to the food, something is missing there. We felt that in each item. The quantity never compromises the prices, it's really poor. But above that, we missed that Happy vibe of good tasty food. Overall experience was not upto our expectations ????

Commendable food. ???????? I dont agree from the previous comments about the staff. They are all great. They instantly respond when you ask them to give you something/s. ???????????????????????? Highly recommended to try their Volcanic Rock Steak and their Ayakora Fry ????????????

Hot stone grill tried and loved it, cooked right in front of you and served hot, deffinately a must try for food enthusiasts and anyone craving a good juicy steak

It was waste experience, porotta was half cooked , chicken munnar curry also not tasty , chicken kanthari they cooked with other chilly there is no kanthari and proper spices , there fresh milk tea is fresh water tea not milk , really disappointed.

Kozhikode star restaurant is quite familiar among kerala foodies. They serve yummy kerala Dishes.Lagoon Biriyani is highly recommended if you are going for lunch. Its only available for lunch and a must try . They serve evening snacks too. Only concern i felt wash basin area is too congested.RTA parking available infront of restaurant.
