Good breakfast that feels a little bit more on the healthy side

You will surely have a good time here, you may feel the the price to a high. but to be honest if you see in the menu its averagely priced for posh waterfront area. The service is done with a genuine smile. The restaurant will embrace you with its open arms to show off what its got here. So, take a chance, visit these guys. You will surely love it.

Next was the Chipotle - Lime fish tacos. A perfectly grilled fish with served with red cabbage, cilantro, black beans topped with chiptole lime sauce. A really good combination in each bite. The lime chiptole flavours were standing out. The bun I felt was a bit hard

We tried their Beef sliders too, which was good to share, a perfectly grilled lean meet, topped with finely chopped onions and pickles. The mains we got grilled salmon and beef tenderloin. The Salmon was really fantastic, top quality fish this. Loved the consistency of the grill and the skin was well crisped and the meat was intact with moistness. Servings of Asparagus sauteed spinach. The beef tenderloin was great too, I asked for medium well and it came that way, succulent and juicy, served with light mashed potato.

They will welcome you with a glass of Detox water (lemon, ginger & mint leaves), and then they will serve you a complementary soup of day. It sounds like the perfect start no? Browse the menu carefully because the options are many and they are all delicious. If you are a vegan/vegetarian you will get the food you are asking for, from their top selling Vegan Burger to their Vegan Bowl and many others. If you are Pescatarian enjoy their Shrimp Tapas, Pistachio Salmon and other delicious items. If you eat chicken & meat then your options are endless and you will enjoy many meals from each category. Before you leave, they make sure to offer you a Fresh Healthy Mixed Juice Shot. I highly recommend this place, they have a friendly staff and you won't wait long for your order if you are dining-in despite how busy on delivery they are.

Krave is an interesting and healthy concept opened in the heart of Motor city. I loved the entire Halloween feel to the restaurant and the best thing was the music, it was so soothing and awesome. The team made sure they made me and my family feel at home and assisted us with vegetarian food. We went there for breakfast but ended up staying till lunch. Here is what we ordered:
Avocado toast: with avocado, chili, pumpkin salsa and feta was just so crunchy and delicious. Yum o meter: 5/5
Six pack: green apple, celery, spinach, cucumber, ginger, parsley. Just what we needed to feel healthy in the morning. Yum o meter: 5/5
Mean green: green apple, celery, spinach, lemon, pineapple, honey. Yum o meter: 5/5
Acai bowl: banana, strawberry granola. Really good portion, this one was gorgeous as much as delicious. Yum o meter: 5/5
Chia seeds bowl: chia seeds, almond milk, strawberry, banana. Super healthy and nutritious. Their quantity is a lot in this one. Yum o meter 5/5
Granola berry yogurt: granola, low fat yoghurt and strawberries. This one was moms favorite, loved the light consistent yoghurt. Yum o meter: 5/5
Asparagus broccoli soup: it was thick and healthy. Yum o meter: 5/5
Pumpkin soup: another delicious one. I wish though they had added lemon to reduce the natural sweetness of pumpkin. Yum o meter: 4/5
Halloumi salad: rocket leaves, halloumi, pine nuts and tomatoes. One of the best halloumi salads I have had. The grilled halloumi was everything. Yum o meter: 10/5
Vegetarian tacos: guacamole, black beans, sour cream, whole wheat tortilla. I loved how healthy and delicious this one was. Yum o meter:10/5
Wok noodles with vegetables: this one is one dish I would come for again and again. It was packed with nutrition and was delicious. Yum o meter: 10/5
Me and my family really enjoyed our time here. The only drawback were that coffee machine wasn’t working when we were there and parking is definitely a nightmare in the area. Overall the food experience was great.

I got the salmon with asparagus and spinach. Food is really tasty but the portion size is too small. I was still hungry at the end of my meal.
I got a free chocolate cookie which was also delicious.

You keep making mistakes on my orders from Tecom branch, you are not cheap and you need to get things right, your phone number doesn't even connect as I tried calling you before writing this.

Service and food are incredibly amazing. If you are looking for healthy, delicious low calorie food this is the place.

Ive tried the Mean Green Juice, it tastes so fresh and healthy, The Salted Edamame was really good. Will definitely visit again

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were very kind and friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The cottage was very beautiful and lovingly furnished, we felt very comfortable and would have stayed longer.
The breakfast was also delicious.
We can highly recommend Schmiddy House.

Fabulous room - so cozy, so clean, very comfortable bed, very cute! amazing and very friendly + hospitable family (+dog????) that own the place, breakfast was everything that we asked for the previous night - loved the vibe of the place

If it was possible to give more than 5 stars then I would. This isn’t a review of the accommodation nor the hospitality but a glowing statement to tell others of how amazing Robert & Glen are. Me & my partner were in a car accident just outside the property and Robert & Glen were so kind enough to come out and make sure we were okay and allowed us into their property to let us calm down after we were pretty shaken. I can’t thank them enough both enough for what they did for us and i would recommend everyone to come to their place of stay as they are both amazing human beings.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I can't put into words how wonderful this place is and how perfect the food is. Russell is one of the most polite and kind people. The food prepared by Glen was simply the best food I have ever had. I would walk from London to here just to have that unique experience again.

Wish I could give 6 stars.

The attention to detail and the service are exceptional. We dined there two nights in a row. One of us is dairy free and upon finding out about this on the first evening, Robert made a seperate menu with all the dairy free options for the second night. The service is the kind you would expect from a 3 star michelin restaurant. Everything is perfectly seamless.

The food is also beyond excellent. Dishes arrived fast and were perfectly cooked, balanced and presented. You can tell the ingredients are local and high quality.

Overall it's very reasonably priced for what you get, this is a restaurant that can only be recommended.

Been here twice now, and am looking forward to getting back again over the next couple of months if I can! Lovely hotel - very relaxed, beautifully presented, very clean.
The star of the show here is the food - a terrific menu with something for everyone I think, and the cooking is perfectly executed every time. Salad starters have lovely combinations of flavours and the scallops were, large, juicy and cooked to perfection; main courses are fantastic, both meat and veggies perfectly cooked (nothing droopy or soggy here!), and a classic bramble sauce to complement everything. Desserts are just lovely too, would recommend the orange cheesecake - I ordered it with some trepidation as I thought it might be a little cloying, but it was delicately flavoured, and lovely accompaniments with it. The baked yoghurt was fantastic too (my better half had this). Great wine list too, and excellent guidance on which to choose from Maître D' Robert. This hotel is definitely a hidden gem - am slightly reluctant to share it as booking ahead is already tricky but Robert and chef Glen definitely deserve highest of praise.

We didnt actually stay here however me and my friend were on a motorbiking trip recently and my friend had an accident on the road adjacent to the Hotel. I could not thank the owners enough for all they did. They were helpful and caring. If there hotel is anything like them as people i will be stopping there in future. Top blokes.

WOW, that’s how we were made to feel from the moment we entered the Smiddy House to the moment we left. Absolutely spotless clean from top to toe, the room was immaculate, well dressed, and the bed was so comfortable.

As busy professionals, we just wanted somewhere to take time out, wind down, chill out for a few days and eat good food all of the above met and exceeded by the team at Smiddy House.

Robert looked after us from the minute we arrived to the moment we left, always on hand to give advice about the local attractions to the wine in the evening. Oh, and the food at Russel’s restaurant was spectacular, local fresh produce, excellent quality and very tasty.

This is, without doubt, a hidden gem in the highlands and comes highly recommended, I would give this place a 5-star rating all day long.

Thank you, Smiddy for making our long weekend memorable
