Yesterday had dinner at L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in JBR, we were a party of 3, so we decided to get to taste more dishes. Luckily as we got seated saw a pizza heading to a nearby table and it looked huge. So I asked our server and she said they just have one size 14 inch pizza, 6 slices. That was good to know because ordering 3 pizzas would have been a huge mistake.

We first tried the Parmigiana di melanzane 70AED (6/10). While it was a decent dish, I had better versions. Even though it is one of my favorite dishes in Italian restaurants I won’t order it again here.

As soon as we finished our Parmigiana the next dish arrived the Risotto Frutti Di Mare 90AED (7/10). It had calamari, prawns, clams, mussels, datterini sauce, and parsley. There was nothing to write home about, and next time I’m ordering something else. It was recommended by our server as it is their best seller. The seafood elements were perfectly cooked, but the overall wow flavor wasn’t there. I won’t crave this dish for sure and i was honestly disappointed that this is the restaurant’s best seller. There are other dishes that look amazing.

Then the star of the night arrived. We had to move the dishes on the table to create space, this is how big it is. The Pizza Diavola 90AED (9/10). This pizza was a true winner. I was glad that it arrived last. It is almost too big for one person, but it is thin enough that you can finish it, if you don’t order anything else. Remember it is 14-inch, topped with tomato sauce, Agerola mozzarella cheese, spicy spianata salami, pecorino cheese, basil, and soy oil, every bite was bursting with flavor. I was so happy that they sliced the Salami thick which I didn’t see on any other pizza in Dubai. Those slices of salami added an enjoyable taste with every bite. I would have given the Diavola a perfect score if the crust had been slightly crispier.

The service was fantastic. From the host at the door to our server at the table. Unfortunately I didn’t catch their names but I would really like to thank both ladies. The manager also came to make sure that we are happy, she was extremely pleasant. Overall, my experience at L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele was enjoyable. The Pizza Diavola stole the show 100% with it’s delightful combination of flavors. I would definitely go back again and again.

Strolling along the beach at JBR the option of an Italian lunch was irresistible- but I think we weren’t prepared for the sheer size off the pizza, otherwise we would likely have ordered half portions. One pizza each was far too much, but thankfully pizza is fine as a takeaway and enjoy again later. Luckily all of the pizzas proved to be delicious, saving us the bother of having to think about dinner.
One of the few places in JBR that offer value for money.

We order on calcone and one napolitana. They were both very tasty, but we have to wait a lot. Workes talked with each other and they didn’t serve us. We had to call the waiter that he came to our table and we had to ask him for the menus…very bad service.

Otherwise the food was great and they have a nice view

Had a great experience at Antica Pizzeria. Had two pies and was completely blown away by it. The staff on duty with me was Vikranth and he did a great job with guiding and was extremely helpful throughout. Would rate the overall experience extremely high.

Don’t go here if you are not ready to get FOOD COMA!!! I mean it! The size of Pizza, the meat, the cheese and the Chilli Oil is definitely to be recommended! If you are looking for an Italian restaurant with great view for dinner then L’Antica Pizzeria da Michelle is the place to be in JBR! Thank you to the nice staff there we had a great time ! I think her name was Jade or Jane ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The second floor is a nice place to sit.

The service is very poor. There is no engagement from the staff. Frankly, the staff look like they are just there for there next pay cheque and this is reflected in the service and quality of food.

If your spending top bob, you expect some service.

The kids pizza was a mess with my child quoting “daddy the pizza smells of feet”.

Despite the other reviewed, stay clear from this place.

Perfect itallian spot for having a dinner. Service is amazing. Very cozy and the view is superb ????.

I love that place. Service is over the top.
Pizzas are very good and huge.
