Local Baristas are quick, knowledgeable, and ready to help with the order. I skipped my usual choice of intense black coffee and decided to try a selection of loose-leaf teas brewed at the table. My favourite was a very special Earl Grey with bergamot and some secret ingredients, which transformed into a very fragrant and energizing cuppa. As for the pastry, it was crunchy, delicate and absolutely delicious.
My advice: speak to the staff about visiting the viewing platform on the top floor. The entrance is open to the hotel residents and occasionally to diners and guests. If you talk your way through, expect to enjoy a fantastic 360-degree view of Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa, Palm Islands and the World as well as very posh palaces otherwise hidden from the camera lens. Have fun!
