THE POSTBOXES SEEN IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

IT SEEMS THE POST OFFICE ORDERED THE ROYAL MAIL TO REMOVE THEM FROM THERE PROPERTY.

YOU COULDN'T MAKE IT UP!

A large Post Office on Station Road Chingford and there aren't many of those left, that can be busy at times.

The Post Office offers all the usual services, it has a number of mainly stationary or postage related items for sale.

The Post Office is on a controlled parking road, you gets a few minutes grace before payment is required.

There are two disabled parking spaces outside but due to the busy road and street furniture, care needs to be taken when getting in and out of your car!

There should be an option for 0 stars. Disgustingly rude unhelpful staff. Now I fully understand why they only have 1.8 stars on Google. I live in the area but WILL NOT be using this post office in future. Happy to make a journey to Loughton or Chingford Mount where I won’t be spoken to like dirt.

Having read some reviews I must admit I was quite hesitant to go here but it was close and convenient so I thought I would endure a little poor customer service for convenience sake.

My experience was the complete opposite, the lady who served me was very kind and helpful, she helped me pick out the appropriate packaging for my item to ensure safe delivery, she was very patient, even with customers waiting she didn’t rush me. I had forgotten my pen and thought I might have to buy one just to write down the address but again she accommodated by lending me her pen.

I was unsure on what delivery method was the most appropriate and again the lady serving me offered clear and concise knowledge on the matter helping me choose and ensuring my item had the appropriate insurance.

The Gentleman serving next to her seemed very friendly aswell and seemed to have a good and genuine rapport with his customers

Overall a very pleasant experience and I hope that you would receive the same service on your visit.

Wouldn’t let us return a parcel unless we used one of their own bags (costing £2) yet the return bag we used was the companies (HURR dress company) own packaging and was made for returns via Royal Mail. Shocking to be fleeced for a service we’d already paid to use. Someone needs to look into this. We had to drive to another post office to return the item. The whole point of reusable packaging is to reduce single use plastics.

I’ve been using this post office for over 12 years. The staff have only got worse. I spoke to the boss to tell him how staff are far from professional and rude (100 other people agree with this in these reviews). He turned to me and tells me that he doesn’t care because he’s closing the post office and proceeds to say “I would have moved to Turkey but I don’t want to die like your family members in an earthquake”. I was left ABSOLUTELY shocked. This is so disgusting and I will be making a formal complaint too.

Rudest horrible people work here. I try to avoid this post office so for as possible. Stressful. When they’re not rude they’re incredibly weird and strange and talk at you about some previous random customer encounter, like I care!? I just want to do my business and get the hell out as quick as possible because these people behind the counter are incredibly rude and strange. Beware!

Disgraceful staff members who all seem to charge the highest amount for postage, price changes depending who serves you. Don’t know how they still have customers to be honest the man who runs the place will try to charge you £8 to send a parcel that is £3 In the post office at the hatch! I pity the elderly who can’t travel and this is their nearest post office this place needs investigating over their postal charges!

Good old post office - from my side i've never been failed by it. Probably best to avoid if possible busy times like lunch hours as queues. Stocks various post related things like cards, envelopes, tape, etc. Near Chingford Overland station, at the North end of Station Road
