With all the gorgeousness around, my expectation for the food was quite high, and I was looking forward to being impressed. The presentation of most items definitely makes the eyes go ????????????????????. The taste did not have the same impact though. The Arabic and Indian dishes do not have the authentic flavors. Only the Indian chicken dish (forgot to take note of the exact name) was tasty. The gravy was thick, the meat was soft, and the dish had a touch of spiciness. The meat from the lamb ouzi and the kebabs from the live grill station were soft and juicy. They can be more flavorful though. The kunafa was really nice and one of the best ones I've tried, so far. I've tried the chicken noodles, shrimp biryani, stuffed potatoes, white pasta, fish, couscous, pakora and spring roll, and they were all so-so. The strawberry iced tea did not taste like strawberry and was too bland.
The best thing about the restaurant, though, is the kids' section, which comes with steps for the little ones to be able to reach the food spread and get their own serving. They had their own kiddie non-breakable cutleries, too. So cute!☺️
The staff are friendly and very helpful whenever their assistance is required. It was a very busy night, and I think the staff can be warmer if they have more time to create connections with the guests.
Overall, the experience was good. I love the restaurant's ambiance and overall interior design. I think it is perfect for breakfast with the massive glass walls giving way to natural lighting and giving access to a beautiful morning view. Perhaps the food is better at breakfast as well ????

Food is normal, pretty ok, eatable but not really delicious. A lot of Arabic/Turkish/Egyptian food, which not really suit with the taste of East Asians like us (I understand that this is a Mediterranean restaurant, but still feel that the food can be a little bit more diversified). The service can be a little bit warmer and with more "heart".

Only one negative. On day I arrived was very late. My wife and toddler were tired and they refused to even let me take a small roll up to room for them - this was rather poor. But else lovely place

We wanted to visit this hotel to experience the offering for the evening buffet this evening (17/June). It is with regret that my wife and I experienced the very worst buffet meal we have ever experience in Dubai. The Food and Beverage Director should be ashamed of himself for a complete lack of standards compared with the competition. As an example the selection of food on offer was very limited eg. No seafood, in addition not one live cooking station compared with other hotels in the area. The biggest disappointment was the Brisket of Beef which was as tough as old boot and cold, served together with mashed potatoes which was ice cold. Why would this allowed to happen? Desserts offering was lack of quality and variety, nothing is chilled, profiteroles was so tough my spoon stuck in the middle. None of it were eaten. Also no ice cream available at Buffet Restaurant? I discussed these issues with the manager "Mark" who to his credit acknowledged that these issues should not have happened. To be fair the waiting staff were excellent in particular "Nicco".
All in all a very disappointing evening, we left the restaurant with a sour taste.
