Recently reopened as The Stag. Looks much the same outside but big changes inside. Very modern and contemporary feel. Unusual decor. Lovely beer garden. Quite pricey though.

This establishment has been renamed 'The Stag' hence some of the interior design features.
Had lunch with a friend and was impressed with the food quality and the surroundings. The staff were superb.

Having booked 6 people in for a meal four days after their opening, we were all really impressed. We all had the Sunday roast (one vegetarian) and everyone agreed how delicious it was. Good sized portions and the cauli cheese was amazing! My husband thought that 2 slices of pork loin was not quite enough however he agreed it was all cooked perfectly. Excellent service and the decor was looking good as they have had a refurb. Definitely will visit again.

This is now The Stag. Food took a long time to arrive, but they discounted the bill to compensate. Limited menu but enjoyable. Only been open a couple of weeks so hopefully next time will be even better.

Great pub, newly refurbished. Lovely food and efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere. Nice to see Blue Moon on tap, nice and crisp.
Will be back for food next time as the menu looks great

Now trading as the Stag, this place is absolutely fantastic. Food, service, atmosphere perfect and realistic prices too. What's not to like.

Looks great from the front and inside with traditional wooden beams. The thing that REALLY lets this place down is the menu is VERY limited. Just burgers, scampi, all day breakfast and three specials. I went there with my brother and father and waited 58 minutes from the time of ordering to when all of us had our meals in front of us. We all said that we won't be going back.
