Had a lovely weekend stay last September so decided to do a bit longer this time . Stayed for 5 days and it was lovely . The sun was out , The food was excellent ! Paul and his Team were excellent hosts . The room was clean and functional . Very pleased all round :-)

We were looking for somewhere to eat - a bit last minute, and Norfolk isn't the best place to be doing that! But this pub came up trumps! What an extensive menu!!! Quality, quantity, VFM - all spot on!

Thankyou all so very much for the delicious Christmas lunch the Briston related ladies enjoyed today. It was superb. Lovely waitress/bar staff as usual. Nothing too much trouble for them. Proper home cooking, just as it should be. We have never had a bad meal here.

We went here for a wedding and it was lovely and intimate. Great selection of beers and drinks. Lovely helpful and kind staff.

Excellent olde worlde pub with a vast selection of very reasonably priced delicious food (be prepared to feel stuffed).The room we stayed in was small but comfortable which included breakfast. The staff were so warm and welcoming as were the locals. Wish we could have spent a bit longer to explore the area, but will return.

Great value. The room was simple and small but it's all we needed and for the price, you can't complain. Dinner was very nice and again very reasonably priced especially when you consider the size of the portions.

Didn’t stay here, we just went in for food. It wasn’t the best. The food was awful, everything is microwaved. The stuffing was so hard that came with the roast dinner I couldn’t even cut it with a knife a fork. Unfortunately I won’t be back this is the second time. I thought maybe the first time was a bad day but unfortunately not. The decor needs updating wallpaper is peeling off the walls in dining area.
