Absolute vile place. As an unfortunate individual I was offered a job at this place, I lasted all of about a month.

The racism for one that come from this place is beyond scary, we’re told to watch and I quote “the blacks” to make sure they don’t steal anything because “that’s all they do”

The older lady Julie whom works in the ice cream parlour made a comment about “black people” calling them thieves, chavs and only they smoke weed because they have nothing better to do. Now I confronted her about this and said she was disgusting for even saying it and this apparently “made her uncomfortable” but with all due respect anyone that’s racist and vile should be made to feel uncomfortable.
I was then pulled into the office by Martyn and was told “I can’t have you making my staff uncomfortable because they’ve been her a long time”
He said he’d contact me in 24 hours to decide wether I can come back. Obviously never happened.

I was body shamed by Gill and Martyn and was told I needed to lose weight after saying I had bad knees.

They speak about they’re staff from different ethnic backgrounds with vile words for example- they have a mixed race girl who they call “half cast” they have a lady from an Indian background and call her a “p*ki”….

They say they act as a “rehab” for “foreigners” and decided to tell me about one of the girls who work they calling her all names under the sun because she had a bad history with drugs”

Me and my partner was also threatened by Martyn after he said “you don’t want to meet my police friends” which I laughed in his face. Now when they speak to “their police friends” they act as martyrs and they welcome everyone which is not the case and ever so embarrassing.

They treat people with disabilities and learning difficulties with such awful disregard and “do not want them there”

They are homophobic and do not welcome anyone who are gay, lesbian, trans or anything in between and are open about it.

My friends daughter went in for an interview and was laughed in her face by Gill and Julie because she was pregnant and wanted to go to university she inevitably came away crying and embarrassed from the situation but when they were confronted they “didn’t know what I was talking about.

Would highly highly not recommend this place for work or leisure!!!

Had a lovely day at Happidrome today, all the staff are so helpful & friendly not like any of the mainstream arcades would highly recommend. Great prizes too and you don’t have to win 2000 tickets either :)

I was outside this arcade with my child and mrs and because I said I wanted to go to a better arcade one of the security that work there (a fat little lady) said to me about my autistic child “I don’t want that in here anyway)

Do not go into this arcade and avoid it at all costs, the staff are stuck up, arrogant, miserable, sour faces and very rude, they are not child friendly and always stare at the children using the rides, my mum mobility scooter run out of battery and could not move, asked them if she can charge the battery for a few minutes and they said NO, i told them its only for a few minutes to get us to the car across the road and they would still not help, they were laughing and joking to themselves about my mum cant move in the scooter, the management and staff in this arcade are a bunch of lowlifes and need a reality check, Avoid this arcade !

Alongside the usual penny shovers and other machines of modern money grabbing stood several machines from the earlier period of video gaming. Offering a trip to the past were Pacman, Track N Field and Space Invaders as well as a trio of Pinball machines. Worth a visit for those of a certain age to relive the 80s arcade experience.

Fantastic old-school arcade with the most attentive and helpful staff member I’ve ever met. Not only did she help me to find my 4-year-old son three times, but she also let me know that he would stand a better chance of winning a keyring on one type of 2p machine than another. We came away with two whistles, two keyrings and a happy 4-year-old.
