Unique piece of social history, the only remaining gasworks in England. Highly recommended! Very interesting, even if you're not engineering minded. Great examples of old cookers, heaters, lamps etc.
Run by very knowledgeable volunteers. Open Thursdays and Fridays from 1p till 1. No entrance fee, donations welcomed

The only one left in the United Kingdom this is how our grandparents had gas lights and gas in their houses. You need to check their website for when they are open

Great little place. Not big. But what it lacks in size it makes up for in interest. If your of an age when the only gas youve had is North Sea Gas. Then its worth a look just to see how things used to be. The staff are volunteers and Very friendly and helpful. And will answer any questions.

History of gas in this small interesting museum, worth a visit because it is so different to other tourist attractions in North Norfolk.

A very important collection of buildings and exhibits showing the industrial and social history of the gas industry from its beginnings to the present day.probably a unique museum of world importance.
