Unbelievable place in the heart of city like Dubai! So green and serene with freeways and skyscrapers surrounding it. Flamingos and other migratory birds can be seen in flocks during winters.

Unfortunately still closed in Feb 2023, although there is at least access to the parking again and you can see some birds through the fence. Don’t really understand why it hasn’t reopened now the road construction is mostly finished.

It's open from 7 am during cooler months and 6 am in summer. Parking will be an issue if you arrive late. You can spot many falmingos, common heron, fishing eagle and ibis. It's not very exciting but options of bird watching can be limited in the city.

After posting pictures of this place on other social media sites I came to know that most of the people are unaware if the entrance is free or paid, hence it is important to share that there's no fee to enter, it is absolutely free to have beautiful view of Flamingos and the only price everyone should pay is please keep this place clean and give peace to the habitants ????
