Superb place in gorgeous surroundings- terrific breakfast!! Great lounge and living area and our room was excellent. Very easy drive to Lewes and Brighton

Brilliant classic B&B. Stayed 1 night after Glyndebourne for which it is a perfect location. Converted old farmhouse, some parts date to 1600s, small no. of good size rooms, friendly hard working couple. Perfect stop over. Sadly the main by pass was built 30 yrs ago 200 yds from the house so it's not a silent retreat but as a B&B the best.

Lovely welcome from Annabelle. We were shown to the Lewes room which was a lovely, big & bright double room. Huge, very clean ensuite shower room. Super tasty cooked breakfast which has to be ordered the night before due to the pandemic & brought straight to your table in the dining room. Lovely views from our room

Ideal for Glyndebourne, 5 minutes away and easy to get to with good parking. Our room was large and recently decorated with a new well equipped on-site bathroom. The hostess/manager was friendly, welcoming and keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a well cooked traditional "full English" although a reasonable cereal and fruit selection was available for self service. This large ,ex farmhouse, is reasonably priced for its standard of accommodation , namely clean and comfortable rather than luxurious. Will happily stay again.

5 days of walking through mud, hills and sheep farms and this was our final accommodation. And what a treat!! Beautiful rooms, excellent location (we were in time for Guy Fawkes day in nearby Lewes), and although close to a highway, the room itself was quiet and provided a restless sleep. In the morning we had the best breakfast of the trip and left to climb Mt. Caburn for a view of the valleys with smiles and full bellies. Thank you!

Great place to stay! I was looking with my girlfriend for something a bit remote, not a touristy place like Brighton, and we couldn't dream of a better place to stay. We were there last weekend. Great service, very helpful, charming owners, and lovely breakfast. Very clean, nice and quite place. Short drive from a sea side, very nice pub short walk from there with a great food . Enjoyed the stay immensely and the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer... Oh, and one more thing - absolutely fantastic home-made muffins we got with a breakfast - baked in the morning, still warm when we came down !
If I'm going to be in that part of England I will stay there again. More than sure.

Great views. Even better when the weather is good. Probably a bit far to walk into town but there is a local bus stop and service. Glynde train station has a route to Lewes and Eastbourne.

Fantastic stay. Fantastic room, spotlessly clean with a very warm welcome and outstanding breakfast. Only good things to say!
