Nice place to access the water. Parking free before 8:30.

The place is neat and nice picnic spot with play area for children. Easy access to the lake for less able people and strollers. Plenty of parking space in March 2023 on a Saturday however shops were closed. Reasonable toilet facility for 50p. The only downside is that place is not very happening with no boats or shops etc.

Very good access to Lake Windermere with wheelchair accessible paths, an excellent playground, hiking trails along the water's edge and access to Queen Adelaide's Hill which gives panoramic views of the lake. There is kayak and paddle board hire, a toilet (50p), and a football pitch and picnic area.

Such a lovely spot, it feels like you are in a movie when the weather is nice. We perched ourselves beside the lake, went for a refreshing swim and then had a lovely picnic. The car park wasn't expensive and there was plenty of room to park. The car park did get full though so make sure you get there early.

Great place to get access to the lake to launch a paddle board or go for swim. Easy 5 minutes down to the lake. There were plenty of spaces when I visited on a Sunday in July.

Good sized car park which is handy for the shore of Windermere with toilet facilities and cafe nearby. Car Park can be paid for via the 'PaybyPhone' app (as well as the usual coin payment) which is very convenient.

Swimming in the lake at Rayrigg Meadow Bay, is popular. There is emergency rescue equipment on the shore. Toilets in the car park. No changing facilities though.
