Good points:
Beautiful site, with mature trees and nice outlooks
Staff we met could not have done more. Reception were great when we couldn't pitch on the first allocated space. The lifeguard at the pool was also super happy and helpful. The pool is fine, clean and warm.
Location is great for explore the coast.
Very child Friendly

Negative points:
The shower block is dreadful. Probably the worst we have seen in years of camping. It's clearly due for a new one but in the mean time they need more cleaning (once a day isn't enough when it's busy) only 3 showers so obviously there was a queue at 8am. Providing a squeegy mop like most campsites would help as the water doesn't seem to drain and you have to wade through a puddle to get in the shower. You can't really get dressed in the cubicle as it's so wet.
The car noise...we had a pitch near the road on site and all night long there were cars driving in. The owners of the mobile homes coming and going. It's really disturbing having cars pass a few metres from where you are trying to sleep multiple times a night. I was surprised they allow people to drive around all night.
I'm sure this isn't so bad when not school holidays so we would probably return and try for a pitch away from the road and definitely come back when the shower blocks have been upgraded.

We stayed in our touring caravan in November on a hardstanding pitch. Staff were helpful and we got a great welcome with our dogs in the clubhouse. Good value meal. Shower facilities immaculately clean and lovely and warm in winter. Easy walk to the beach from the site. Don't miss The Music Room cafe as you walk into Overstrand. The most amazing home-made cakes ever! Dogs welcome to outside seating area.

We're looking forward to returning again sometime.

As always this caravan site goes from strength to strength and gets better with every stay! All of the staff are very polite and extremely helpful! The pool is lovely and the shop is gorgeous! Never ever had a bad moment and will keep returning! Extremely dog and child friendly!

Very clean and well kept site. Only thing would have been nice if the restaurant was open for breakfast. But saying that as its still low season it might open breakfast in the high season when is more people on the site. I would definitely go back there again.

Staff are all helpful & friendly. Walks are just amazing. Shop could have more local items for sale & being winter we could have been spead out a little more we have a car right outside our caravan door.

Lovely big site with plenty of facilities. The indoor pool was great, the shop was handy and very reasonably priced. The shower block was fine although could do with a refresh of some of the fixtures and fittings (main field). Quite a sloping pitch, but the reception had plenty of blocks to help us out.
Lovely location with some great walks. Would visit again for sure.

It is an excellent place to stay either camping , caravaning or glamping. We havee static there and would recommend it highly to everyone especially families.
