I recently dined at this restaurant with my family and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was pleasant, with cozy lighting and comfortable seating. The staff was courteous and attentive, which added to the overall positive atmosphere.

However, I was somewhat disappointed with the food. While some dishes were flavorful and well-presented, others lacked the wow factor I expected. The menu had a very few options to choose, and I also felt overpriced for their portion size and taste.

Additionally, the waiting time for our meals was quite long, which affected the overall enjoyment of the evening. It seemed like the kitchen was struggling to keep up with the demand, resulting in a delay in getting our food.

In summary, the restaurant has potential, but there are areas that need improvement, especially in the food quality and timely service. With a few tweaks, it could become a more delightful dining spot.

Beautiful ambient and the details added to the restaurant. The best chefs cooking and you can see it when ur dinning in the restaurant. Service was bit slow though not that busy restaurant. We asked them their specials in the menu and just ordered those. sorry wish i remember the name.. butter chicken disappointed us little but the rest was amazing experience. A must visit place . Winters would be amazing ????

I came for the business lunch with a colleague and we enjoyed the set lunch. Both dishes were great and the Indian newspapers under the food was a nice touch.
The staff were very kind and attentive despite the restaurant being busy for lunch. I would definitely recommend Mohalla and would return to try more items in the menu.

Restaurant is nice with lovely decoration , food is good for indian street food , the pani pori is tasty , the mutton is 3/5 but tastes good , have somefat in it , the white rice was little cold not warm or hot , the salad was great chopped small , the paneer masala was great , over all experience is nice , would come again? maybe

we had an excellent experience at Mohalla.Their new menu was top-notch and definitely met our expectations. The flavors, presentation, and quality of the dishes were all fantastic. The service provided was friendly and efficient.

The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall appeal of the place.

Mohalla, a contemporary casual dining Indian restaurant located in the Dubai Design District, is big on flavour and serves up some mouthwatering food. We pretty much devoured everything that was brought to the table but having said that, we did enjoy the smaller plates a tad more than the main course! The Papdi Chaat, the Lamb Chops, the Tandoori Prawns were definitely among our favourites.

Also, I really wish we had left some room for dessert. But that’s just an excuse to come back again! A two hour lunch feast and we were in a wonderful food coma by the end of it all.

Definitely recommended!

Second visit :
Gladly the waiter remembered of me, I went back with the team the food was served quickly and without coriander for me, thank you!

First visit:
I requested no coriander leaves, they completely ignored my food intolerance for the starter.
Main dish was good.
We came at 12:35, at 14:10 I had to leave the table without eating the already paid desert not yet served to go back to the office for a meeting, lunch break is 1 hour.

I visited multiple time after and no further coriander was served. I appreciate the feedback was well received.
