Had my first Sunday roast here last week. Couldn't fault it. Plenty of it. Still hot. All well cooked. Finished off with a strawberry gateau.

Lovely place off the beaten track. Rump steak perfectly cooked with good sized portions. Good beer and great friendly service.

Was a lovely little stop off at the end of the day, the manager was very helpful in finding us a table for food. Doesn't feel like those local pubs everyone stares you out it was very friendly and deffo would recommend

The cross Inn no doubt about it deserves five starts 6 if it was possible.

Starting with the customer service throughout our meal on the 19th of April. It was hands down the best experience I have had.
I was treated with professionalism aswell as a welcoming smile from the lovely bartender with blonde hair and a high pony tail in perticualer you feel like you could make aquatence with this lady instantly.
I was serviced by other tenders too who also were wonderful.

Our meal for 7 people came to £80 with us leaving a £10 well deserved tip making it £90 bare in mind we did not need sweets nor starters after and we still had food on our plates we were that full.
You could pick up a dinner for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) for between 20 and 30 pounds I would say with more than enough on the plate. Refer to the pictures

Final words:

So from the entire family we thank for an amazing finish to the holiday and we are missing the atmosphere of the place already.

This is a must when in the south of Wales or even in Wales. I recommend you book tables.

Had a lovely evening at the Cross Inn last week. The sea bass was fresh and faultless, the beers were great, and the unexpected, friendly pub company was superb. Thank you, Cross Inn!

Found this beautiful little pub just up from our campsite at Penally Court Farm. Very welcoming staff and the food is amazing. I would highly recommend you pop in here and grab a drink and some food.

Friendly snug and good options on tap, again the all important dog friendly! Enjoyed a couple of nights here.
