Was quite certain to miss the last train of the day to England. Had come to Scotland to attend a relative’s wedding at the beautiful Crossbasket Castle. Unfortunately there was no Uber drivers or other taxi company drivers available to take me back to Glasgow train station in time. With not much hope I called the Wellman cars company. They sent the driver in less than 10 minutes. Then the road to motorway was closed. Was out of time. But the legendary driver Gerry (60), who is a kind hearted soul understood my concern. I had shared with him that I missed the wedding dinner as well to catch my last train back home. He took shortcuts & made me reach just on time. I am so so thankful to Gerry (60) & relaxing in train now!

This is my go-to taxi company. Communication was excellent, regular updates and make and registration is sent to you so you know you’re getting in the right car. Driver arrived in jig time and the car was spotless. 10/10 would recommend and use again.

I usually use Wellman to get home from work and they’re always great. the drivers are always lovely so are the phone handlers, the drivers always have good chat and I always feel comfortable. I’ve not had the nicest of experienced with my local taxi firm so Wellman is always my go to now as the service is always great. I would highly recommend Wellman to anyone seeking good service !!

Excellent service, we booked a 6 seater, I hope I have his name correct, Ayvan, was our driver, both going and I requested him to collect us, which he did. A very pleasant driver, and thanks very much for putting up with us twice! Highly recommended, especially our driver!

I had a terrible and an unsafe travel experience when travelling with my 11 weeks old baby. The driver was rude, unprofessional, abusive and unsafely fitted the company car seat (which I additionally paid for). He was also terribly late and three times the app told me he was waiting for me (when he wasn't) and I was waiting with a small baby outside in cold (the trip was in November).
I have contacted the office by leaving the voicemail for manager and writing an email as I would never want this to happen to anyone else. I have not received any response from the company since December.
Please stay away from this company especially when travelling with children. I am sad to write this review as I used the service often and had some lovely drivers and great experiences.That being said, this journey and the lack of response from company is appalling.

This review was based off my own experience with Wellman and their driver. Can prove this with a WhatsApp verification message. Wellman keep reporting my reviews and hiding the fact that one of their drivers touched my son. Wellman keep blocking my accounts, ignoring me and not letting me raise complaints. They keep trying to justify and give reasons as to why a grown man put his hands on a three year old. Customer service is appalling. They speak to you like rubbish and provoke you then complain about a reaction that they received. I have had three of my children tell me the same story along with mine, while I have wellman and their disgusting driver make up lies to save their own back. The drivers car was dirty, he was mouthy and rude. He shouted at me at my front door, made us all feel uncomfortable in his taxi and put his hands on my three year old. He shouldn’t be allowed to work with people. People should feel safe in a taxi. They have deleted my reviews on social media. They have blocked me on social media and told the local news page if anyone says anything bad about them they are getting taken to court. So they treat people this way and then try and scare by the looks of things. Have proof of everything I have said in text form. Wellman still won’t take responsibility even though they have given a very fake response under my message. They still have this person working for them. They haven’t dealt with this accurately. Women and children need to be careful while using this company. Wellman seem to have a lot of shady reviews after they get a bad one like this.

Taxi service to/from a meeting. Friendly, helpful drivers. Second cab had a see-through barrier between front and rear passengers which I preferred to reduce any infection risk. Would use again.
