Good place to get Amaron batteries for Mitsubishi pajero. Gives good discounts (if you give old battery).

Brand new is 340AED

Very helpful and also removed fungus from battery terminals by pouring hot water and cleaning with some grease.

Went to look at the Rugeley Power Station display but then had a look around the whole thing. Must have spent nearly 3 hours in there learning about the fascinating local history of the mines and the men (and women) who worked for them. Interactive and eye opening. Loved it.

With free parking and admission this delightful little museum explores the colourful history of the area surrounding Cannock Chase.
Friendly and welcoming staff are on hand to answer questions or leave you to explore on your own.
As with most museums there are quite a lot of information boards to read. The old toys and mining sections are very good and there are some hands on activities for younger visitors.
Dogs are not allowed inside the museum, but there is a shaded area with a few tables just outside where you can enjoy a drink from the cafe. There are also plenty of walks directly from the site.
The opening times on Trip Advisor were incorrect when we visited so it is best to check the museum website.

Small but very good museum with loads of history packed in. Very friendly staff and a great little cafe. Outdoor seating on the hot days is a nice quiet place to have a drink and a chill.

A fab free museum to spend an hour or two. Kids loved it, learning about toys and the coal industry. The staff were very friendly and we found the space stickers challenge very challenging! There is a small coffee shop which sells hot and cold drinks and snacks. Free parking as well.

Small but informative. Father in law wanted to donate some mining products from his days with coal board, but had to take home as need to fill in donation form take it back and wait to see if would be accepted. ????

Excellent opportunity to learn of the history of the chase, from it's mining background to the forties room a station masters room, a childhood toys museum room, and for us the day we went, a history told in cloth and thread. Very knowledgeable staff and lovely walk on the chase afterwards. Take good foot wear , look for the special breed of cow too X ❤️

Very friendly staff, and lots to see and do. Very interesting exhibits, and many of them are interactive. It's free as well.
