This is not just any wall—it's a really special wall that is built across a river. It is like the biggest wall I ever saw, a tower so tall that it reaches the clouds! It's like it's playing a game with the river. It says, "Stop, river! You can't flow freely anymore!" —it stops the water from flowing and makes it stay in one place.

This river is like a magical pathway for water. It twists and turns, just like a snake slithering through the grass. But then, surprise!, there is this really strong wall across the river, and the water has to stop and wait there. The water gets blocked by the wall, it starts to fill up like a big, gigantic bathtub. The water keeps rising and rising, creating a huge pool behind the wall. It's like a secret world that the river has to share with us.

When the water builds up behind the wall, it becomes so powerful that it can spin big wheels. These wheels make the electricity that makes my home bright and my machines work. I really like this, it really holds the water and makes everything around it more useful and safe.

Much more interesting than I anticipated. Nice views, fish ladder for the salmon. Helpful, friendly staff (I wasn’t well and they called a taxi and looked out for us until it came).

What a great way to see how Dams work.
Its amazing how water can be so powerful. View was amazing, had lunch in cafe, homemade soup, with crust bread and butter, really nice, we were even allowed to bring our dog in as well. A must see.

Interesting spot for quick visit - the small exhibition is in a purpose built accessibile building that over looks the dam. Nice cafe.

Nice place to visit, but not as a main attraction, there is a nice visitors center and good food to eat.

Great visit at Pitlochry dam. Nice cafe with very reasonable prices. Nice friendly staff. Visited 2 years in a row. Hopefully back again soon.
