Traditional working man’s club with plenty of dart boards, music, events , pool, a well stocked bar and friendly staff.

I’m not sure when they serve food as I’ve been there loads of times in the evenings and I’ve never seen anyone serving which is a shame as I’d buy it is it was good quality and reasonably priced.

Really nice to see these clubs still active.

Not my normal place to review but I went here with some friends and their parents the other week.
This place had a fantastic atmosphere, live music, very reasonably priced drinks.
It had the old school social club vibe (I know this is supposed to be like this) but many have changed over the time and lost their ways this place is the same as it’s probably ever been.
Really well done keeping the community feel to the pub, highly recommended for families alike.

Supper friendly club, great prices and a great crowd. No trouble at all. They put on great events for people of all ages.
Live music on the weekends keeping us entertained.

A very well run club. Bar staff very good, well some are, lol. Good choice of beer good entertainment. Lots of community stuff goes on during the week daytime.

Just accepted as a member. Now able to meet up with Bereavement Support Group buddies on the 'social'. Lovely friendly environment, great staff and legendary 'locals'.

Just watched a BBC news story on this club and what a credit every member of staff are there. The care and support they offer is second to none.

Keep up the good work as it's very clear the elder members would be lost without this vital lifeline.

Was here last week for a funeral can't fought the staff they were lovely and caring and made a hard day easier. The reason I gave it 3 stars as we had a buffet done there which cost £400 pound which im sorry to say was awful .my mum had been comming here for 8 years and ild like to say you done her proud but i cant I'm only glad she didn't see it the quality if the products was appalling just sandwiches a few sausage roll cocktail sausages chicken nuggets and a couple of quiches which were still frozen I would say top price it would have cost £100to buy and thats being generous. At £7 ahead I would have expected a little bit more not even enough for everyone would like to say your kitchen staff need to learn a bit about working in kitchen quality control quantity and food safety. such a shame its let the club down as I know your trying to turn it around

We were made very welcome.staff very friendly .Nice memorial done by bingo members.hall ideal for occasion.unfortunately we were let down by the buffet.very limited choice.not enough food and quiche still frozen
