Lovely park. Thought it used to be known as Fidlas Park (perhaps informally). If you have a canine you get to chat with other dog walkers, which tend to loiter on the grassy hillside down from the park proper towards Rhydypenau Road. The kiddies playground is okay - needs a couple more things as there’s a lot of unused space in the enclosure. No access to the reservoir site directly currently but you can walk through the woods at the bridge to reach the Rhydypenau Road access lane. Works well as part of a nature corridor/walking route from near top of Fidlas Road to Cardiff High School, along Nant Fawr Stream.

Nice peacful park in the woods. Easy access for people with little ones with lots of splash puddles, rivers and streams, trees and wildlife...we have seen foxes, rabbits, mice, birds....space to play and bild dens or just enjoy a walk in a beutiful setting in the middle of the city.

I walk my dog here a few days a week and whilst it's a beautiful big area which ventures off to lots of different places the amount of dog mess is atrocious!! In my opinion The park is suitable for younger children up to age around 9, great that the goal posts are there for the older kids would be ideal if there was a basketball or tennis court too but hey you can't have everything!! Good place to do some hill sprints training too, good amount of bins provided and the area is well maintained by the council.

Best place ever for dogs who want to play together. Socialise your dog here and meet like minded friendly people who know how to manage their dogs on or off the lead. Highly recommended to everyone even if you don't have a dog it's great for a walk through.

Nice place to go for a walk and just down the road. Locals are considerate and all tried to keep to social distancing where possible. Will go again soon

The main park pathways especially alongside stream badly need seeding with new grass.
Stop the idiots on bikes from racing down hill pathway

Nice local open space for exercising, dog walking etc. Path leads on to wooded walks and continues around llanishen reservoir.

Half the park missing only one swing for a 1 year old. All other available for older children
