Sweet and helpful staff. Very organised tracks with beautiful views (especially at night).

Yummy açai smoothies.
Absolutely and amazingly delicious egg-bun restaurant open there.

Some of the bikes we take are not good sometimes, and need fixing, but the staff always help and replace our bikes.

Good place to go for a nice walk on your own or with company. My children enjoy walking here and my dogs love a good run and the occasional swim. It's a nice loop walk back to the car park. It is also nice to kyak on too, which I have done with my children. It's a very pleasant walk.

If you're paddling down river to the tidal weir from here it's a great trip.
Lots of wildlife and interesting.
The lay-by by the bridge is on a very busy road. Drivers don't slow here so be extremely careful. Wear a hi Viz when unloading.
Steps down to the river can be very muddy and slippery. Take care.
When the flow is slow moving ( IE river level below the steel edging wall) it's easy to paddle back against the current. Any higher and you may have an epic.
Banks are muddy and bank exit is awkward nearer the weir. Round trip takes around 5hrs at a steady paddle

Flooded when I visited!
A temperamental water as most tidal rivers are, when conditions are right some good fishing can be had. Many clubs have different stretches, heavily pressured water.

A lovely place to walk along the river. No facilities. Shame about the height barrier so I could not use the car park - not motor home friendly .
